"Will you hurry up Dad? I mean really we are in a Vamp car, doesn't it go fast?" Alice quitly said to her dad.
"Look Alice I know you are excited to have your," Dracula paused not knowing how Alice knew Rachael.
"Best friend" Alice answered annoyed.
"Okay... I know you are excited to have your best friend, Rachael, to come and live with you, but you have to learn to be patient when you are a vampire. Since you are my only daughter I will hit the gas all the way, and to answer your question... yes the vamp car does go fast it goes 10,000 mph." Dracula answered.
Alice leaned forward, and turned the music up. When the song was over the car stopped, and Dracula turned the music down. Alice got out of the car and went to Rachaels bedroom window. Alice opened the window and went in. Rachael was sitting on her chair... she was sobbing though. Next to the chair was a purple, coffin shaped, suitcase. Alice knocked on the wall, Rachael didn't respond, she just sat their sobbing.
"Are you okay Rachael?" Alice asked in a soft tone.
"Alice.." Rachael yelled then wiped her nose, "well now I am, I thought that you forgot about picking me up!" rachael continued slightly embarressed.
"No I didn't forget about picking you up! I don't know what would even make you think that at all! Now let's go' Alice awnsered.
Alice could see in Rachael's eye's that she was hiding something. Alice pushed it off though... well at least until the middle of a song when they were an hour away from the castle.
"Sorry Rachael I didn't hear you, what did you say?" Alice asked.
"LOL! Good one Alice, I didn't say anything at all!" Rachael replied laughing.
"Okay... Dad did you say something?" Alice asked confused.
"Why no Alice, I know what is going on, I will explain it when we get you home." Dracula replied.
Alice just shrugged, and turned the volume up. Once they got home, Alice showed Rachael around and helped Rachael un-pack (which only took 2 minutes all together), then went to her room; where her Dad has been waiting for her. Her dad explained that Alice can read minds, and how that is her special power. It took a 1 minute for her to process the fact that she can read minds. After that then she got all stressed!
