Service finally ended at 12:30 o’clock.  My stomach was growling at me, and I heard Titus’s do the same.  I’m sure my mom heard to as well, she told me that Titus could come to the house and she would pick us up some food while her and dad went out with some new friends they made.  Titus nodded in agreement and that was that.

Titus and I was sitting around the kitchen table eating Taco Bell when I started to ask him more questions about Endigo.

“What do you want to know, dude?  I told you everything I know,” he said after choking down another taco.  He sounded a little annoyed with me for asking so much about that girl.

“Is she known for something in this town?  I mean, there has to be a reason why she is liked by everyone.  She tatt’d up and the preacher loves her, I figured the church would be angry with someone that has tattoos all over their body and not going to even bother to hide them.”

“That’s why she is loved so much.  She goes by the philosophy ‘if you don’t like me ’cause I’m blank blank blank then you don’t like me at all.’  I’m sure she has a secret.  Everyone has secrets.”

    “You are no help.”

“Why don’t you just go over there and ask her?”

“Maybe, I will,”  I just grew some balls that day.  I put my napkin on my plate and I walked right out the door and across the yard.  I hopped the few stairs her house had that lead to her front porch and rang her doorbell.

She didn’t answer the first 3 rings, and it made me kind of antsy.  I pressed the button for the fourth ring and the door flew open.

“Don’t you dare ring that bell one more time,” it was her.  Endigo stood looking up at me in some short boxer shorts and a long baggy tank top, no make up on.  She looked adorable.  Her hair was big and curly again.  It reminded me of a lion’s mane.  I felt like ringing the door bell one more time just to see what she would, so I daringly did.  I was hoping that she was going to laugh at me, so I can make an icebreaker out of it.  I was hoping she would already know who I was, but she didn’t.  And ringing that doorbell again was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

She started yelling at me in French, then she switched it up started to curse at me in German.  She was pointing at me, spitting at me.  What in the world did I just do.  This pretty angel just turned into a she-devil right before my eyes.  I couldn’t help but just laugh.  She was still cute, and the German/French speaking was pretty hot.

“You are laughing at me?,” she said in English sternly.  She had didn’t have a thick Southern accent, but you can tell that she was from the country.  Her eyes were blood shot red, and her hands couldn’t stay still.  Her skin looked sick and white.  She might have been crying before I came over, but her eyes were dry.  ‘Weird,’ I thought to myself.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you upset.  I was just trying to be funny.  You know, ha?  I’m your neigh..”

“I know who you are.  You were watching me last night through your little window over there,” and pointed to my window in my room,” was the show nice enough for you?” she said sharply.  This girl had no heart.

My eyes grew wide, and my heart raced.  I was caught red handed.  I never have been caught with anything before.  She was good, too good.  Then I finally remembered what all happened to her last night.  I started to feel bad and looked down at her.  Her eyes were looking into my soul again.  I could feel that she was hurting, but she put up a wall showing the world that she was fine.
