Chapter 5: "You Can never tell anyone!"

  I run up stairs struggling to lock my self in my room but just my luck it breaks, all I can cry out is " what's happening to me!" I throw myself on my bed bursting into tears, and I slowly drift off sleeping. I stand alone in a empty deserted gas station, and i hear the sound of  a bird chirping. Suddenly I'm able to understand what the bird is actually saying. Its as if he's trying to warn me, an tell me that someone is watching me. I turn slightly to see who it is,  but before I could see, all I hear is, 

" Heather dads leaving, and   he put your suitcase in the car already. 

" Already! Wait what time is it!"

" it's almost 9 o'clock "

Nigel started to drag me out of bed, both his hands pulling my feet, and I'm seconds I was on the floor. 

Before I could get up Nigel wanted to say something but I cut him off this time. 

" Heather, I know we fight an all but... I'm serious, you can't ignore this!"

Since when was Nigel ever worried about me?   That was  new!

I got up and walked past him, but before I could leave my room he grabbed my arm and said,

" Heather I'm serious! Your only sixteen, and your still developing—"

" What the hell has that got to do with my hair going on fire?"

" It does since , now you have powers that are unrecognizable to you, and now at your age it's hard to harness it let alone control it! Just remember you need to figur—"

I've never seen Nigel so worried before, but as usual I just brushed it off and slightly chuckled saying,

" Don't worry I'll be fine, I'm pretty sure I could take care often self!" As I said that his face didn't look to pleased.

" Heather, this isn't a joke one time I almost killed my girlfriend in a car crash because I had a vision one time. It litter ally paralyzed by body, and everything happened so quickly! Luckily her father didn't kill me, instead he told me to never go near his daughter again!—"

" Wait, I though you told mom and dad it was a deer that ran in front of the car, which caused you to lose control over the car!"

" um...I lied "

" Wow, now makes sense! I remember the car was badly damaged so obviously it wasn't a seer!"

"Shame on you Nigel" I laughed while shaking my head. "Tsk, tsk"

I again turned to run downstairs, but Nigel yelled from the top of the staircase saying, " you can never tell anyone about the 'deer accident,' the last thing I need is to be grounded on the day of me and Amy's, one month anniversary.

" Fine! I won't tell" I shouted back.

I enter into my fathers car, and he pulls out of the drive way.

We drove down on Willdrive St. Then we  made a left turn at Clarkston Dr. 

Soon enough the sky is pitch black, and we could hardly see the road a head. I lean back on the chair trying to sleep, and the strange dream happens again. The bird chirping, and I turn around to see the person walking towards me.

" Oh no! This can't be good."
