Hi my name is Clare and I play drums in a band called Bad Holiday. My band is my only escape from life because when I was 16 my mom died from drug overdose. Im 22 now, but after my mom died my dad is always drunk and everytime he came home he beat me and sometimes raped me. I tryed to report it but if I did he threatened to kill me. My life was changed once I met John, Mark,Steve and Jale.
So, today we found out we were going on tour with Asking Alexandria, Motionless in white, A day to remeber and Chelsea Grin. We were all hanging out in Jale's apartment when we found out, we had two days to get packed.
It's now Thursday and our tour bus is waiting outside of my apartment.
"Come on Clare, we gotta go" screamed Jale.
I finished packing and ran downstairs and up onto the bus.
"Finally, we've been waiting forever" Remarked John
I shot him an angry glare and walked back to my bunk and set my stuff down. Our first show was in Hollywood and we live in Phoenix so we had a little over a 7 hour drive.
I was really tired, so I put on my headphones and blasted a Skylit Drive song and layed down and fell asleep about half way through the song. I woke up and were pulling into the venue.
"Were here" Screamed Steve from the front of the bus.
"Wow did I really sleep that long'"I though to myself as I was getting up. I walked to the front of the bus and walked outside and saw another bus across the parking lot. It was Asking Alexandria, I sat down on the ground as another bus pulled in.
The bus came to a stop and 6 guys got out. There was a really tall one in front and 5 guys followed him and the started walking towards me.
"Hey you guys must be Bad Holiday" The tall one said to me
"Yes" I replied laughing, and called the other guys out
"Were Motionless in white, Im chris, this Josh,Ricky,Angelo,Ryan and Ghost( Devin)" Chris said
"Nice to meet you" We all responeded
"Im Clare, and this Steve, Mark, John and Jale" I said cheerfully
"Nice to meet you guys as well" The all said in chorus
So, my band and Motionless walked into the venue. We were the only show scheduled to play here tonight, so we decided we would do a sound check. Motionless was doing theirs so I watched I found the keyboardist cute. Josh was his name with his oversized gauges and his angel bite piercings I found him pretty attractive.
Jale hit my arm as it was time to go onstage for our sound check. I went up and took my place behind the drums, and started tuning them and the guys started tuning their instruments. Once we were done was all walked back outside the Motionless guys invited us to go get wings with them, We were all hungry so we agreed to go.
We all walked down to the Buffalo Wild Wings down the street,The lady greeted us at the door.
"How many" She asked
"11" Chris said
We followed her, they had to push a few tables together so we could all fit.
"Hey Chris" I heard from another table
I turned my head and it was Alex Koehler from Chelsea Grin.
"Hey Alex" I heard Chris scream back at him
We all sat down at the table, I sat next to Josh god was he hot.
"What are you guys getting" I heard Angelo scream from the head of the table
