Chapter 1: Party

Today I was going to a party with my best friend, Normani, so I had to get dressed. I put on a crop top, a mini skirt, and some heels. For my makeup I put on eyeliner, red lipstick, eye shadow, and blush.

By the time me and Normani were done getting ready it was 11:30, the party started at 12:00. "Lo, are you ready?", Normani asked me. "Yeah, I just hope boys don't hit on me.", I said. "Yeah, yeah. You're a lezbo. I get it.", Normani said. "What's wrong with being a lezbo?", I asked offended. "Nothing.", Normani said. "Better be nothing.", I mumbled.

"Let's go.", Normani said. Me and Normani got in the car and drove off.

"We're here!", Normani yelled. "Yay.", I said in a sarcastic tone. Normani playfully punched me, "Get out the car party pooper." I groaned, "Fine..." I got out of the car and we both walked into the bar where the party was.

"Why is it so loud?!", I yelled. "It's a party! That's why!", Normani yelled as she started doing the whip. I smiled and shook my head.

"I'm going to get a drink okay?", I said. Normani nodded. I went over to the bar and sat on a stool. When I looked to my right I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

She had dark brown hair, brown eyes, and she looked Cuban. Wait! I'm Cuban! This is perfect! I thought to myself. I'm gonna ring Ally. Lauren pulled out her phone and called Ally.

"Hallo?", Ally said goofily. "Hallo to you too Ally." "Hey Lauren! Find a cute chick yet?" "Yes, I have. She's sitting right next to me.", I said whispering. "Niiiice. I'll be there in a second.", Ally said. "Oka-" Ally hung up the phone.

I chuckled to myself. "So, I'm that cute chick?", the girl sitting beside me asked. I felt my checks get hot as I buried my head in my hands. The girl laughed, "It's fine. I'm Camila." I looked up. "Lauren."
