I slam the door shut behind me and a few curse words leave my mouth. I just had a fight with my boyfriend Rocky, and I'm so mad at him. I went home to blow off some steam. I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV, watching a random show in an attempt to distract myself from what just happened. It didn't really work. After a few minutes I remembered it. Rocky gave me a few envelopes a few months away, and I believe one of them was named "Read if we ever fight." I decided to go and get the envelope.
I walked upstairs to my bedroom and looked for the envelopes, I found them and looked for the one with Read if we ever fight. I found it and opened it, unfolding the letter inside of it and I started to read it.
"Love,
I hope you never have to open this envelope, but since you're reading this, you did. If you're mad at me, then I'm really sorry. I must have done something really stupid to upset a beautiful girl like you. I'm really sorry for what I did and I regret it. I'm probably hating myself right now for what I did. Please don't hesitate to text me or call me once you aren't mad at me anymore. I'm dying to talk to you again and fix things between us.
I love you, baby. I really can't go without you and I need you in my life. You mean a lot to me. And I know I'm stupid for what I did, please forgive me.."
I was at the edge of crying at the last few sentences of the letter. This was so sweet. I got snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the doorbell. Who could that be? I walked down the stairs and wiped away the tears from my eyes. I opened the door to see Rocky standing there.
"I'm so sorr-" He says and I cut him off by jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly. He hugs me back tightly and he hides his face in the crook of my neck. By now, I couldn't hold back my tears anymore and I started to cry as I kept hugging Rocky. After about a minute we both pulled away and I wiped away my tears.
"I'm so sorry.. I'm stupid and I regret what I did. Please forgive me.." Rocky says while frowning.
"Of course, baby. You're the sweetest. I read your letter." I say and smile small. Rocky smiles small as well and he hugs me again.
