Chapter 1- Hey, it's me!

I peered round the corner, my eyes darting from one side to the other. Heaving a big sigh of relief, I decided to take the first step and walk round that corner. As I walked slowly, one step at a time, I could hear my heart pounding so fast that it felt as if it was going to jump out of my body and do a little hip hop dance. You're probably wondering why I was so terrified and perhaps I will hear you snigger when I tell you. I was terrified of the local school bully. But before I carry on, I would like to tell you all about myself, it will save you making false assumptions about me!

First of all, I am an Asian boy and wait for it, I am Muslim but most definitely not a terrorist. I am what you would say a typical boy. I would say I was okay looking but I have heard some girls refer to me as geeky. Yes, I am tall and I have dark hair, as all Asian children seem to have and being only fifteen years old, I do have some spots on my forehead, cheeks, well most of my face. I'm not fat,  I have to admit  I'm a little on the skinny side. But, stop there, because I am working on it. I am hoping that one day I will develop strong muscles and in time maybe I could go into Bollywood movies or even modelling.

Now, let's talk briefly about my family. Okay before you start to think about Asians and large families, think again. I have three siblings, two sisters and one brother and I don't think that it's too large a family. It's probably one more sister or brother that you have or even two, so it's not that much more, is it? Of course, I was unexpected, but as I've been told time and time again, a very welcome surprise. No hard feelings on my end because like I say to my sisters, their lives would be very dull and oh so boring if it wasn't for my existence. They don't tend to agree with me but that's sisters for you!

Just quick info for all you folks out there, my parents aren't too strict. However, sometimes we end up crossing different paths in our views so we have pretty heated debates. Better stop now as don't want to completely bore you plus we're not the most interesting family either. I would say the most exciting thing we have ever done is when my dad actually broke the speed limit on the motorway, he drove at 75mph and even then he was trying to slow down to bring it back down to below 70. Man was that embarrassing, so many cars went past displaying some very rude gestures with their fingers....!

Getting back to why I'm hiding, well, Jason is the school bully and he's nothing scary to look at but he can humiliate you like no one else. So how did it start? Well, there I was walking along the school corridor not doing anything exciting apart from listening to music on my ipod, minding my own business (just for info, I was not and I repeat, I was not listening to Bollywood music).

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. I could hear loud laughter as I fell face down hurting my nose. My bag was grabbed from me and the ipod was smashed into tiny little pieces by gigantic caterpillar boots. And guess what happened next...... absolutely nothing, nothing at all. Jason and his trashy crew just walked away without a word. I heard later from Gary that Jason just wanted to have a laugh at my expense. So since that day, I have tried to keep my distance from the psycho. I mean, think about it folks, he might be bored again and who knows what he'll do next?

Bet you're thinking I'm a coward, hiding like that. That's true but come on guys, what would you do? Would you risk being humiliated in front of others? Okay, I understand if you're built like a truck but if you are a skinny nerd like me then you don't have much of a choice apart from hiding.

But I love school as there's this girl I really like, her name is Tara. She's so beautiful and I can just look at her all day and night. Man, that's so corny, but hey, that's exactly how I feel about her. She's so damn beautiful. She's better looking than all those Hollywood actresses (apart from Miley Cyrus)!

Before I continue, let make one point clear, there's not going to be any dirty stuff written here, no point as there is plenty of that on tv and the net so why the heck would you like me, an inexperienced guy to write it? Plus, my parents would kill me if they realised I was writing stuff like that. Oh, and can you imagine the crap I would get from all those aunts and uncles that I know. Personally I don't give a shit (excuse my language) but I'd rather not upset my folks just now. Getting back to the point, I so do not want to look bad in front of Tara.
