I lay in my room, flat on my abdomen
balancing my chin on my crossed fingers
winning the staring contest with the wall
I try to look past the soul of wall to infinity and beyond
trying to delete my trouble causing thoughts
I lay like a shadow, inseparable of the dark room
The moving cars when go past my window, whirring my thoughts and emotions with their noise and tracing the wall with their beaming lights
I see my life appear and disappear before my eyes.
