I have always known that there is a right one. And now I know that there really is. This story is about how a little necklace changed my life forever. The first part is the day I learned about this necklace. It was my 15th birthday. I am now 20.
My mom had always told me I could not know how her and my father met until I was 15. So, on my 15th birthday, I asked her once more. I wrote down her exact explanation. This is it:
Olvia, everyone is born with a half of a unique necklace. I had mine, your father had his. Our shape was a heart within a star. I had my half, and my mother gave it to me on my 15th birthday. Your father had his half, and it was given to him on his 15th birthday. And then, we had to set out to find eachother. It is destiny. There were clues along the way of where we would find eachother on our 18th birthdays. We found eachother on a beach in the tropics. I had lived in Chicago, and him on the other side of the world. It wasn't a half way point, but it was a place where we had to meet eachother. We both had to travel the same distance, though. & now, it is your 15th birthday. You will now get your necklace half. And you will now need to set out to find your true soulmate.
She handed me my necklace. It was a half of a moon, with half of a heart inside. Close to my mother and fathers'. She told me that I needed to go to find my soulmate as soon as possible. And she gave me my 1st clue. A picture of a pizza. What was I supposed to do with that?
