Chapter 3:

"This is the main part of town where everything is." I told part of the Malik family.

"Cool." Zayn said in a monotone. Well when I get him alone with me he won't be so bored then.

"Do you girls like ice cream?" I asked Waliyha and Safaa.

"Yeah!" They screamed in excitement together.

"Well here is ten dollars. The shop is right there. Go get whatever you want." I told them handing the bill to them. As I was I added "And tell Luke I said hi, he is the one who runs the ice cream stand."

"Thank you Roxanne!" They screamed running off to the ice cream stand.

"That was nice of you to give my sisters money to get ice cream." He said.

"I thought it would be a nice treat for them with the hot weather and all." I replied casually. Ready to lure him in one of my traps.

"Yeah it is really hot." He agreed.

"Yeah well so are you." I said flirtatiously with a wink. Yeah I know it's a corny boy move, but usually by now the boy would already be talking slash flirting with me.

He seemed a bit shock at first by what I said then smiled and replied, "I'm not gonna lie, your pretty hot too."

I was gonna reply, but Waliyha and Safaa came running back with their ice creams. And not too far behind them was Luke.

Shit! Shit! Shit! I thought.

You see those summers when there was no boy to mess around with I used Luke.

He knows my game, but of course he had to develop feelings for me. He told me last summer, the third summer I used him that he had feelings for me.

When he told me I panicked. I didn't really know what to say. So I told him trying to not hurt his feelings, that I wasn't ready to settle down and used my ex-boyfriend as an excuse.

Honestly, he is mighty fine, but for some reason I just can't settle down with him. I feel like he is too good of a person. That he deserves better.

Even though he doesn't understand that, I know he'll just wanna try to change my ways and make me fall for him.

Who does he think he is, Cupid?

"Hey Roxy." Luke said with a warm smile. Ugh fuck him for trying to be all sweet.

"Hi." I replied in monotone, not really wanting to talk to him. I just felt awkward and I'm pretty sure he could tell I was too.

"I'm Luke." Luke introduced himself to Zayn. Reaching his hand out so Zayn can shake it.

"Zayn." He said firmly, shaking his hand.

"Hey Rox, mind if I drop by later? I really wanna talk to you." Luke asked.

"Uh.. I'll text you and let you know. I might be busy later." I replied. I just wanted to say 'no you can't. I don't want to talk to you', but I didn't want to seem rude in front of Zayn or his sisters.

"Okay, I understand." He said. To anyone it would seem what he said normal, like he just understood, but I knew what he meant. He understood that I don't want to talk and I'm probably gonna have Zayn over.

"Well ready to get back to the houses?" I piped up, ready to leave.

"Okay." Safaa responded, eating away at her ice-cream.

We were walking home, Waliyha and Safaa were walking way in front of Zayn and I.

"Hey." I said wanting to talk to him. He looks so hot right now and the way his eyes glisten from the reflection of the sun. It made me want rip his shirt off and fuck him.

Yes, I'm a very horny girl.

"Hey." He responded with a cute little smile.

"So.. I was thinking, since we have to be neighbors for basically the whole summer, you wouldn't mind coming over mine so we can get to know each other a little better." I said flirty with a wink at the end.

He scratched the back of his neck nervously, but then joked "I don't know. I have a feeling we wouldn't do much talking."

"That's the point." I said seductively. "C'mon you know you want to." I tried to persuade him. I don't even care if I sound desperate, he is just so hot.

After a little thinking he smirked, "Sure."
