" Lucy, there's something really important I have to tell you, you need to sit." I firmly grabed her shoulders and had her sit on the edge of her bed. I croched down to eye level with her so I ddin't look intimidating, I didn't look anywhere but her sweet brown eyes. " you see, well were best friends and partners right?" she nodded " and you know we have been through so many great adventures," she nodded again, still blushing " well over that period of time, I've learned something very important about you that you need to know," I grabbed both her hands

" Lucy you are a very lovely girl, I'm glad no guy has made a move on you yet, and I want to tell you is that maybe we can be something more," she didn't move, but her face got a little red " see the thing is Luce, I believe I'm in love with you, and I want to be by your side, hold you, make you laugh and smile, and have the greatest adventures with you by my side." I moved her hands to my mouth and kissed them gently, she look as red as Erza's hair, she's so cute. I waited what liked seem to be forever, until she squeezed my hands. I looked at her, she was smiling. She asked " so, are you asking me to be your girlfriend?

"No" I said, she was shocked, " I don't want you to be my girlfriend, I want you to be my mate" she pucnched me lightl on my arm, " you surprised me there, but thats what I love about you. I would love to be your mate." I fell on my butt, maybe I was the one that should have sat down. But she said it, she would love to be with me. she smiled down at me and I smiled back up at her. Now i felt like nothing could stand in my way.
