"Millie," Ava breathes out.
My eyes fill with tears and I turn away from my allies. I can't let them see me cry.
I turn around and see Ava sobbing. Luis is too.
We all form a group hug and cry together.
"How many are left?" I ask them, wiping my face.
"47." Ava whispers.
"25 innocent lives have been taken." Luis says. "All because of this horrid country. This is all for their entertainment. All of these children. Dying. It's not even the kids who killed them's fault. Its the Capitol."
"Shhhh," Ava and I scold him.
He glares at us.
"25! And they don't care! Because all they want is a good show! Huh?" He looks to the sky.
"Kids are DYING! Bleeding to death! And you know what the worst part is? NOBODY ACTUALLY WINS!"
Suddenly a tracker jacker nest falls from a tree.
Ava and I scream as the nest explodes on the ground and sends millions of tracker jackers swarming around us.
I feel a stinging pain in my leg and another one in my shoulder.
Soon, the tracker jackers are covering me like a sheet and the pain is unbearable.
I see Ava running away towads the small stream near our camp.
I sprint to follow her but I trip on a root and I tumbe on the ground.
I scream as loudly as I can.
I am spazzing out on the ground.
I am going to die.
I scream louder as I flail on the ground. The words echo in my mind, bouncing off of the thoughts I have about my family.
Stop it all.
""AHHHHH!"
Stop the pain.
"AHHH!"
Die, die, die, die
Suddenly my vision blurs, and I fall into nothingness................
Dead.
