Recap:
When Mikala got home from school, Cody left.
I guess he realizes that Mikala and I just like having girl time together sometimes.
He understands because there are times when I ask him if he wants to hangout and he says he wants to hang with his friends because he already promised them, and I completely understand every single time.
“So how was your day with Cody?” Mikala asked, as she entered my room.
“Great! We did a live ustream. Oh, and I’m also going to start making advice videos and such starting Sunday! Cody also made me a twitter and instagram!” I said, smiling.
Mikala smiled.
“You know, I really like seeing you happy.” She said.
“You wanna know something?” I asked.
“Sure.” She said.
“I really like being happy.” I said, smiling.
“Almost ready to go?” Mikala asked, coming into my room as I was curling my hair.
I looked at her dress and gasped.
“You look so gorgeous!” I said, making one last curl in my hair.
I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.
“So do you!” She said, smiling, as she looked me up and down.
I was wearing the same dress type thing I wore when Cody and I were on the Ellen show. A floral print skirt, with a white tank top. Alli let me keep it because she said she doesn’t wear that outfit much anymore. She also gave me her white flats because she knew I didn’t have any white type shoes, so I was wearing those out tonight too.
You see, Mikala was invited to a party, and she didn’t want to leave me alone tonight because she’s been so busy lately, so I’m going with her.
It’s just one of those regular house parties that teenagers throw when their parents are out of town for the weekend. That’s what Mikala was telling me anyways so I wouldn’t be so scared.
A car outside honked, and Mikala ran to my window.
She waved outside and smiled at me.
“Our ride is here.” She said.
I smiled, and grabbed my phone off my bed as Mikala ran down the stairs. I quickly followed her down the steep stairs and out the door, only to see Cody sitting in his car. He smirked at me.
“He’s coming? But, I just saw him like two hours ago…” I said, laughing.
“Chill, he’s just driving us there.” She said, as she hopped in the back of the car while I got in the front next to Cody.
He pulled out of the driveway, and looked at me.
“You look beautiful, as usual.” He said, focusing his eyes on the road.
I felt my cheeks heat up.
“Thanks.” I said.
He nodded his head.
“I want you to stay safe, okay? Have your phone on you at all times.” Cody said.
“Yes, mom.” I said.
“Oh, and another thing. No drugs or alcohol. The last thing we need is you guys drunk or high.” Cody said.
Mikala and I both agreed, but as we got closer and closer to the house, I got more and more nervous. Anything could happen tonight.
