"No no no!"

I stopped dancing as my music instructor grabbed a handful of his hair and growled.

"Feel the beat!"

The music started again, and I once again smoothly started dancing.

He stopped it and didn't say any thing, despite his steaming madness.

"We will start tomorrow." He said and walked out of the dnce room without another word.

I felt like crying.

I stared at myself, my long loose brown pony tails flowing over my shoulders, and I had a gray crop top and sweats with high top nikes.

I wanted to follow Emilia's steps. I wanted to just....one day...be like her in the DCI agency and start my own....just like Riptide.

But how could I, when I couldn't even please my instructor?

My sister wrapped her muscular arms around me, her green eyes reasurring me.

Because if I knew she said something, I would start bawling.

"Hey.....we'll find you a crew, right?" Emilia said.

Her dance partner and best friend, Bodie, awkawardly scratched the back of his head.

"Em....I need to get out....of here. I need to fulfill my dreams...." I said.

"But you're doing fine....!" Emilia said as we walked out.

I gave her an incredulous look.

"Okay.....yeah....you're right. We're going to New York. DCI signed us up as one of the top competeting teams." She said.

"No way! Really? Is Riptide that amazing?" I said.

Ive heard of DCI, other wise known as Dance Central Intelligency. It was where the biggest crews compete with the top competitors in the world.

I still couldn't believe it.

Emilia laughed.

"Well, we're full of surprises."

..................

"Emi! Hurry up we're going to miss the jet!" I said excitedly as I raced out of our house.

DCI sent us a personal first class ride to New York! Isn't that amazing?!

I clutched my duffel as Emilia and Bodie caught up with me.

...................

"Hello. Welcome to the Dance Central Intelligence Jet."

The robotic female voice greeted us as we stepped on the platform.

I gaped.

It was a two story plane!

There were spiral stairs and a large wide space with a kitchen and a bar for partying.....not to mention a large dance floor that had glowing letters of Dance Central on it.

I ran up stairs and saw a lengthy hallway that had large cubicles of rooms.

"Tenney! Wait up!" Emilia said.

"Which one is mine?" I asked excitedly.

"I believe yours is.....B06." Bodie said as he looked down a list.

I ran down the hallway and stopped at my room.

It was small and had a single bed propped against the small window, with a shelf above the overhead and a tiny closet.
