The Elephant And The Shoes

Once upon a time there was an elephant who lived in a cottage. Her favorite pair of shoes were the sandals with the bows on them. She never wanted to take them off and loved them so much. But, one day she took them off in the middle of the road. Meanwhile, a car was driving by and hit her shoes. Her sandals broke into pieces and then the elephant was sad. One day, she found a new pair of shoes. They looked the same as her old pair! She was so surprised! She put them on, walked all the way down to the road, and sat down in the grass. Her sandals didn't get dirty at all! The elephant tried to touch the shoes, but her arms were too short! She thought that her shoes were magic! Then, she stepped in a pond and they got all wet, wet, WET! And then she went back home, took off her sandals, and dried them off. Then the elephant lived happily ever after. The end.
