After 2 weeks of recovering from the revelation of -A, the 5 teenage girls from Rosewood, PA, are packing for college. Emily, jock of the clique, will be attending a school in California. Hanna, sassy diva of the group, is moving to NYC to live with her boyfriend, Caleb. Spencer, smart teen, will be going to Georgetown. Alison will stay back and take care of her sister, Charlotte. Meanwhile, Aria, artistic girl of the clan, will be going to Savannah, Tennessee. The girls all say goodbye, and head into their cars. Aria gets a call from Ezra, her boyfriend, who asks when she is leaving. She replies "Right now, why?" Ezra says he just called to check up on her to see how she is. She doesn't really believe him, but says she is fine anyway. Aria starts her car, and heads on her way to the Downtown Airport. Making her way downtown, Aria sees Ezra. She sees Ezra, but talking to a young, beautiful, lady. Aria doesn't think much of it, but starts getting worried.
