Night was a little chilly on the 17th April as it was not that hot. The streets were full of shinny light that flickered from the lamps of the cars that zoomed past or stopped as the traffic lights went red. A short but slim female figure walked confidently along the sidewalk were local nightclub were based. This was in the heart of London. She went into one of them, which was called ‘Hooligans’. This was a gay bar, now she didn’t know that was a gay drink bar. She is straight. She has gay friends, yes, but mostly they are boys. Her name was Clara, She is quite slim but is short. She is girly, but she can be a tomboy sometimes. She has never met a lesbian before in her life. Not a single one. So she went in and the whole gay bar checked her out or stared at her or giving her dirty looks.

“What?. Did I do something to you in any way”, Clara said to all of the shadowy figures that stared at her.

Then she looked down shyly to the floor and said nothing as no one had replied to her questions. The bar went back to normal as in chatting, drinking etc. Suddenly a gorgeous girl stood in front of her, towering over Clara as with her high heels were boasting her height a few inches from Clara’s height.

“I suggest you turn around and leave, honey” the woman said firmly as she put her hand on her hips, glaring at her, waiting for Clara to leave the bar. Then another girl stepped in between us two and put her hand up to stop Clara from leaving, turning to the mean woman and said, “What do you think you are doing, sending her out of here?”.

“I was just asking her to leave? Is that a problem?”, the other said.

“ No and no don’t you do that, she is welcome here, so leave her alone!” The nice girl said as the rude one just turned around firmly and left, leaving us standing in the middle of the gay bar.

“So what are you doing around here, pretty lady like you, huh?, the nice one said.

“ I was just passing by and though I’ll stop by, you know”, Clara said as she looked around the place, not at the nice girl.

“I see what you mean”, replied the nice girl, noticing Clara looking around.

“By the by, I’m Kelly”, she added as she smiled at her.

“Oh, erm…. I’m Clara, nice to meet you Kelly” she said in a friendly way as she smiled back at Kelly. Kelly smiled as she looked at her in a loving way.

“Would you care to join me for a drink Clara?”

“Why, yes of course” Clara said as her smile widened a little bit more.

Kelly nodded and started to walk over to the bar, leaving Clara standing there looking at Kelly’s back. As she did, Kelly glimpsed over her shoulder to Clara and winked at her. Clara’s smile was gone as she noticed the wink that Kelly aimed at her, a stunned reaction made Clara look away.

When Kelly got back to her, with two glasses of different mixed drinks in both her hands, Clara looked around for a table, which she found one alone near the front window. Kelly and Clara sat down together at the table, as Kelly gave Clara, her drink, which was vodka mixed with diet coke. Clara thanked Kelly while picking the glass and having a sip from it. Giving her a cute smile, Kelly asked, “ So how did you find this place hmm?”

“ Oh I just was walking around this particular street and I noticed it and came in to have a look”, Clara said as she placed her glass down on the table.

“Kelly, do you run this place?” Clara asked before Kelly could ask more questions.

“Oh I wish I did, but no honey, I’m just a plain girl like you, that help girls like you for instant, to get along with others in here.”

“I see” Clara said as she nodded at her, “ I’m surprised. I thought you run the place, you look like a manger to me, when I came in” Clara finished as she took another sip from her glass.

“I’m just one normal but different woman that enjoys life and party hard”. Kelly said correctly.

Clara played with her glass of coke/vodka while looking straight at Kelly’s beautiful Mediterranean brown eyes.  Thinking about what it would be like to be like her, a lesbian.

She was miles away, thinking about gay people, when ……

“Hey? …… Hello!? Earth to Clara?” Kelly said, snapping her fingers at her face.

“Huh” Clara said, snapping to reality. “ What happened?” she added as she rubbed her eyes and looked at Kelly again.

“Don’t worry, Clara you are fine “ said Kelly, realizing what she sensed from Clara’s mind.

Clara smiled at Kelly and then looked at her own drink, which had turned into purple with a hint of red in the middle.

“What the… what’s wrong with my drink?” Clara looked at Kelly, a concerned look on her face.

Kelly looked at Clara’s drink for a second and then looked back at her in a mysterious way, keeping quiet.

“What have you done to my drink, Kelly?” Clara asked firmly as the words came out her gritted teeth as she looked at her suspiciously.

“Drink it, I bought it for you, Clara, as a gift”. Kelly said in her velvet soft voice, her eyes were no longer brown but a honey colour as Kelly was hypnotizing her to drink the spiked up drink.

“Yes, Kelly I will drink it “Clara said in a hypnotizing tone, grabbing the glass and began to sip the drink slowly down her throat.

As she was watching, Kelly smirked at her working plan. She continued to hypnotize her until Clara drank all of her spiked up drink.

Finishing up her drink, Clara placed the empty glass on the wooden table and looked straight at Kelly’s hypnotizing eyes, waiting for an order.

“The drink that you just drank, Clara was not spiked up, it was a potion that I made to attract girls like you to remember me in the future. Do not freak out Clara, as what I’m about to say, might shock you a little.” Kelly said, still using that soft velvet voice. “I am not a human, but a creature of the night, that attracts girls like yourself to get to know me.” Kelly finished her soft-telling story to hypnotized Clara as she snapped her fingers to release her from the fantasy world. Kelly’s eyes turned back to brown and normal.

Clara blinked quite a few times, rubbed her eyes again and looked up at Kelly. Staring at her and realizing what was told to her from Kelly, she gave her a horrific expression, looked at the now empty glass, got up, looked at her again with no expressions and walked out of the bar, leaving Kelly watch her walk out.

No one seemed to have noticed the conversation and Clara’s departing from the bar, as it was loud and noisy inside. Kelly just stared the space where Clara had vanished.

“ I will haunt you down, Clara, you just wait… in a few years… you will be one of my kind…” Kelly said under her breath.  The words flowed with the wind and were heard by Clara as she walked home in the dark and misty streets of London.
