I open my eyes to the bright light coming from my window. I hear wind blowing outside. Stretching I roll over to say good morning to the love of my life. All I saw was his body mark of where he laid. Scratching my head I wonder where he'd gone. I hear water falling to the tile in the bathroom. Maybe he's in the shower.

The door was slightly cracked. I open the door and peek my head inside, a huge gust of steam hit my cold face. I knew he was here. "Good morning," I said hoping he'd hear me. "Good morning beautiful, did you sleep well?" He said. "I slept alright. I woke up to an empty bed so that's a plus," I said with sarcasm in my voice. Stop being so rude, you'll only make him angry. "I know , I know and I'm sorry its just they called me in for work and I had to get ready to leave," he said as he turned off the shower and grabbed his towel from the rack.

He comes out of the shower with the towel around his waist smiling at me. Water dripping from his neck down his chest he kisses me on the cheek. I closed my eyes as he put his wet hands on my face. "I love you," he says with a smile on his face. "I love you too," I said smiling back at him holding his hand against my face. "Alright my love I have to get ready for work I'll see you later," he said as I stepped into the shower. Don't let him go. Once he's gone, he's not coming back...

He shows up at around midnight, looking tired than ever. I take off his jacket and hang it on the coat rack. He slips off his shoes, sets his brief case on the dresser and wraps himself in the blankets and falls fast asleep. I took his brief case down to the living area. I set it down on the computer desk in the corner.

I head back up to the room, the light still on. I rub my eyes and yawn going to lay down when I notice something. Is that make-up on the collar of his shirt?? No no it can't be. He wouldn't do such a thing. I turn on my phone flashlight and inspect the collar of his shirt. It was make-up. Shimmering from the light of my phone I step back staring at him in disgust. How could he do this to me?
