Lilith and I sat at the table and were currently working on our work we missed. Then the phone started to ring. I answered. "Hey, it's Kaylee," the voice on the other end said. "Hi." I responded. "Um, well I was just calling to say that I am outside." And then she hung up and someone knocked on our door. Lilith answered. "Oh, hi." Lilith said, and Kaylee nodded. "I'll help you with the bags." I said. "There are more in my car," she told me and I went outside. I opened her car door and grabbed a suitcase and two bags. I headed back inside, and found them both in what all of us agreed to be her room. I set then down in the corner. Then, I carried my work to my room and sat at my desk. I continued working until 2:45, where I went to Luke's school and picked him up.

We all sat at the table as I set out the plates. We were having spaghetti for dinner. "Are you Kaylee?" Luke asked. Kaylee nodded. "Your pretty," he said. Kaylee smiled, "Thank you." He smiled back. Then, the rest of dinner was quiet. Lilith had helped me clean up the table and wash the dishes. "Well, isn't this depressing?" I said. She tilted her head. "Kaylee is living in her dead cousin's house." I stated. Lilith punched my arm. Hard. "Ouch!" I yelped. "Why did you put it like that?!" Lilith asked, slightly annoyed. I shrugged. "Just telling it like it is." She sighed, louder than she should and stomped away. She was easily angry. I put the dishes away and went off to bed.

The next few days were uneventful, with Lilith and I working, Kaylee staying in her room all day, and Luke at school. It really wasn't fun. I finished reading the 'Jenna Fox' series and had decided that I would start reading 'The Hunger Games' series again. Until I got a letter from, guess who, my mother. It read:

Dear Missy,
I'm sorry about not writing for a while, and I apologize for my reckless and active behavior that put me back in jail. But, please, take care of Luke. We both no longer trust your father and he can't even take care of himself that well. Also, take care of your self. Miss you & Luke. Hope to see you two visit! Bye.
Love Mom

'Wow. She sure does care. Yeah, right. Ugh. I don't feel like writing her back. I'm going to sleep.'
