Cassidy's POV:-
It was a little past 6 when I woke up, to the bright rays of sun seeping through the open curtains of my room's window. I did my morning dues and prepared breakfast for me and my son Dylan. The corner of my lips tug upwards thinking about my 2-year-old son Dylan. He was the only good outcome of my engagement with the Italian Marco De Luca. Little did I knew, that my life would turn upside-down, two years back.
I went into Dylan's room with a cup of coffee in my hand. There he was my little bundle of joy, standing in the crib gripping it's railing, watching me enter with those twinkling, big grey eyes. Dylan's a splitting image of his father- with brown hair, grey eyes and lips shaped like a Cupid's bow. He lifted his arms gesturing for me to take him and called out to me, "Momma". I went to him keeping my cup of coffee on the nearby table. Lifting him up, I settled him on my hip and cooed to him, "Good morning my baby boy". He replied to me with his toothy grin. I gave him a bath and dressed him in a blue onesie. Taking him down for breakfast, I settled him in his high chair and gave him his bottle of milk.
After breakfast, I played with Dylan for a while, waiting for the nanny to come and take over. As on cue, the doorbell rang. I went to open the door with Dylan on my hip. Opening the door I welcomed the short heighted, raven haired with streaks of white on between, Mrs.Deena Goodlings, but we all call her Mrs.Dee. She loves me and Dylan like a mother and grandmother would. "G'morning you two", Mrs.Dee greets us and ruffles Dylan's hair. I wish her back a good morning. "Well, now that you are here, I'll leave you two. I am getting late to open the coffee shop", I say handling Dylan to Mrs.Dee. I kiss him on his head and wish goodbye to both of them before leaving the house.
