Molly's POV
I climbed into the passenger's seat of Josh's car as he climbed into the driver's seat.
We were going to drive up to Silver Dollar City two hours away just to spend the day together. On the drive there, we rocked out to the music Josh had in his car. We walked up to the ticket thing at the entrance to the park and got two tickets. Josh and I walked in and decided to go on every ride before the day was over.
Of course, at every ride there was a super long line that we had to wait in, but it was worth it.
We were walking around to find a place to eat lunch when a girl ran up to me.
"Can I help you?" I asked the fourteen year old.
"Yeah. You're Molly Lancaster, right?"
"Yes. Why?"
"I love you! You and Niall make such a cute couple! Can I have your autograph?" She asked excitedly as she held out a makeshift piece of paper and a pen.
"Sure." I gently took them from her hands and scribbled my name on the paper before handing them back.
"Thank you so much! Can I have a picture?"
"I guess." I chuckled as she positioned herself next to me and took a selfie.
"What are you doing at Silver Dollar City? Don't you live in Northwest Arkansas?"
"Yeah, I do, but I need a day with my best friend to mend a few things." I glanced at Josh.
"Where is she? Can I meet her?"
"It's not a 'she,' it's my best friend Josh." I pointed at him.
"Are you cheating on Niall?"
"No! Of course not. Josh is like my brother. Niall knows who he is. He doesn't mind."
"Okay." She eyed me. "I guess I'll see you in magazines." She hopped back to her family.
"Do we really look like a couple?" I asked Josh.
He shook his head instantly. "No way. We act like brother and sister."
"I hope that's how it looks. I don't want things to go downhill with Niall and I because he thinks I'm cheating."
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine, sis." He hugged me.
"Lets get some lunch. I'm starving."
He chuckled. "Of course you are."
I skipped off to the closest restaurant while Josh just walked behind me. We stayed at the park until about four o'clock before driving back to Bentonville. Josh dropped me off at my house before heading to his own. I walked in, the scent of my mom cooking supper filling my nose.
"That smells delicious, Mom."
"Thank you, sweetie. It'll be done in about five minutes, so could you get your brother and sister?"
"Sure." I walked over to the bottom of the stairs. "Guys! Dinner's almost ready!" I yelled upstairs.
"That's not what I meant," my mom scolded from the kitchen.
"I know. I'm just too lazy to go upstairs." I heard feet beat down the stairs and my younger brother and sister appeared.
"Hey, how was your day with Josh?"
"Good. How was your day at home?"
"Ugh! I was doing homework the entire day! I'm so exhausted!"
