Chapter Six

March 26th

FIONA LOUISE BALTAZAR

I officially graduated high school.

Oh my gods, I still couldn't believe it.

I graduated. I survived.

I still feel like it's been only days since the first day of school.

Since I became a Agater.

Since I met Altair.

Since I met Luke.

Since I realized my true feelings towards Luke.

Since I learned about his - Luke's - true feelings for me.

"Can I have this dance, my Louise?"

"Sure, why not - as long as you don't call me your Louise again."

"If you wish,"

"The stars look lovely tonight, don't you think?"

"Yeah, they do - but they don't look as lovely as you."

"Excuse me?"

"I-I love you,"

"Thank you?"

"N-no, no! I mean, I really love you. D-do you do the same?"

"I-I'm not g-going to say.."

"Can y-you let me court you, at least?"

"I need to ask my-"

"I already asked them. They both said yes."

"Well then, it's a yes from me."

Oh joy, memories.

I'm currently resting my head and back against a tree here at MHS garden. My graduation had been over probably an hour ago, but I decided to stay here at Moonstone for a bit. I'm just reminiscing and enjoying the last moments of being able to hangout here. I'm gonna go home probably before dark since my parents want to celebrate my promotion and my eighteenth birthday.

I'll just read the ebook edition of Peter Pan while I wait for the sun to set.

I was about to turn the page when I heard a buzz coming from my right. I haven't been able to turn my head to check when I saw an arrow fly pass me. Mind, it was just a few inches from my face!

I let my instincts took over and it led me to hide behind the tree I'm resting on.

On the cue, another arrow flew at my right. But this time, it's not super close to me. Thank the gods.

Who would bring a harmful weapon at school, anyways?

I waited for about ten inhales and exhales before checking if there are still flying arrows. Fortunately, there are no flying arrows anymore.

There is, however, an arrow stuck on the trunk of the tree I used as a shield.

To my bewilderment, there's a note taped on the arrow's body.

It read: Travel to your safe haven like lightning and you would find them safe. Travel like a turtle and you would find them incomplete. You have ten minutes. The clock is ticking.

What. The. Hell. This isn't good - not good at all.
