so today we have a type of awards assembly and I'm kind of glad, because it will shorten the class periods by 10 minutes. its stupid they have to assign seats to us. i just hope its not someone i know unless its Ava or Allison.
i started getting ready, i threw on some black jeans with a cropped flannel shirt, with some white high top converse. then i just curled my hair, i don't know if I'm getting an award but i don't want to look stupid if i do. then i just put on mascara and a maroon lipstick i usually only wear mascara but today i decided to go out after school with tyler, he is one of my friends i made this school year.
we were gonna go eat to a Panera near school. i grabbed my school bag and started walking to school. one more year till i can drive one more year. i thought lazy to do the 30 minute walk, yeah 30 minutes.

once i got to school, i saw ava and tyler waiting for me at the table, i got there and tyler got up and give ma hug and he went for a kiss on the forehead, we don't have thing but i guess its a very small crush almost nothing, i know who he likes and he knows who i like, then i said hi to ava and she just waved her hand as she continued watching vines.
"so do you think your gonna get an award" tyler said breaking the silence.
"probably not, what about you?" i asked
"coach said probably just an athletics award and thats it." he chuckled]
"better than nothing" i laughed the bell rang right after.
"haha i guess" we got up and the grab my textbook and Avas textbook.
I guess Allison is late.
We all entered English and i saw that shawn was already sitting there, i acted as if i didn't mind him at all, then tyler gave Ava her textbook, then he gave me mine and kissed my forehead again I'm kind of used to it i guess so i don't mind.
"if i don't see you at lunch then wait for me by the oak tree in the front of the school, see you!" he said rushing out of the class. Ava and i just looked at each other and chuckled at how he is almost always late because he walks us to class. i would think Ava liked tyler but since she doesn't believe in relationships with friends she is into tyler guy best friend, Dylan.
"so today we will continue the presentations" the teacher started talking.
shit. i thought i hate presenting.
"first up...Affinity" he said with cheer.
"of course" i mumbled, i have the worst luck..
i opened up my presentation and it was on the title.
"hello, my name is Affinity Marshall and today i will be presenting some facts about me." i said as i clicked the button so the slide would change.
"so i was born on August 28th in 1998 to my mom, Karina Marshall, and my dad, David Marshall, he actually passed away 4 years ago in a car crash so right now its just my mother and older brother, Austin Marshall, he's actually a junior here. Next up are my friends, my closets friends who didn't leave my side because of rumors" omg did i really just say that, i glanced at shawn hoping he didn't hear, but that just made it seem as i was hinting it towards him causing people to look back at him...
"-um are Ava" and i pointed at her making her wide eyed, and pissed,"Allison, Tyler, Dylan, and Nick" i said pointing at each one in a 'squad' picture, " my favorite things to do are listening to music, going to dance, and helping out at a Kids Special Education Center. And that's pretty much me"
"thank you Affinity, give her a round of applause" they started clapping and i walked to my desk which is diagonally behind Shawn's desk, so i had to pass by him, as i was passing he grabbed my wrist.
" we have to talk" he said tightening his jaw after he said that.
"about?" i acted as i sat down.
"oh i think you know" he said with a sarcastic smile.
"greaat" i mumbled under my breath
