Chapter 4

"give you this, give you that, blow a kiss, take it back, if i looked inside your brain.." i was singing along to I Want by One Direction when I heard shuffling coming from downstairs.

"Jack?" I called out from his bedroom. No answer. I get a little nervous and walk over to the door opening it slightly. I look down the stairs and see someone in a black hoodie and mask walk from the living room to the kitchen. Oh shit. I go back into Jack's room and quietly hide in his closet almost crying. I was so scared.

Creeeek. Creeek. I heard the wood floor in the hallway creaking and suddenly the door burst open into Jacks room. I let out a small whimper when he opened the closet door and pointed a gun at me. "PLEASE DONT" I cry out.

"Alex." I felt someone slightly shaking me. I quickly sat up and ran a hand through my hair breathing heavily. As soon as I sat up I regretted it because I got a huge headache.

"Hey..? Are you okay?" Jack asks me rubbing his eyes.

I just burst out laughing. He looks over at me weird which causes me to laugh even more. "I had a nightmare that there was a murder in your house so i hid in your closet." He laughs along with me and lays back down.

"You always had crazy dreams. Remember when we were 6 and you had a dream that I was playing tea party with you, but I had underwear on my head?" I burst out laughing again.

"I called you Mr.Underpants for a whole week!" We both laugh remembering those moments. "Well I'm gonna head home and change. I smell like a mixture of cologne and alcohol. I'll see you before camping?" I asked him.

"Yeah, we can ride together." he tells me and groans closing his eyes.

"Sorry I woke you up. Oh and thank you for last night Jack. My mom would have killed me." I say and give him a kiss on his cheek.

"I missed you Alex." he says before falling asleep again. I quickly slip out and put my shorts on. I decided to just steal his shirt. His parents cars weren't in the driveway so I just walked out the front door and over to my house. I unlocked the door and walked into the kitchen.

"Goodmorning Alexis." my mom says slipping her coffee.

"I'm sorry mom! I fell asleep at the Gilinsky's!" I say laughing a bit.

"I know honey. Katherine called this morning. She told me you were asleep with Jack." My mom giggled.

"Nothing happened! I swear!" I started blushing like crazy.

"I believe you sweetheart. And now go shower you smell like alcohol." she says and continues to drink her coffee.
I just laughed and ran upstairs.

When I got out of the shower I had a text.

-Alex, it's Jack. I walked over to ask what time you'd be ready but you were showering so your mom gave me your number. :) -

-3 hours. It's gonna be so fun! I'm already packing the jeep-

As soon as I read the text I hear a honk so I walk out to the balcony and laugh. "Two days right?" I call out and he looks up at my balcony.

"Yeah! Did you even ask your mom yet?" My eyes widen.

"Oh shit Gilinsky!!" I say and quickly run inside still wrapped in a towel, "Hey mooooom.." I say walking into the kitchen once again.
