Horrible Memories

Your P.O.V.

The butler had helped me up into the carriage. When I looked at it I was surprised at how nice it looked. It was nothing like my last home...or rather house. It wasn't much of a home, especially when I wasn't safe there. For all I know I'm not safe now, but something feels...different. I'm not sure what it is about this boy, but I can feel my tail attempt to swish as he looked at me sitting beside him. Oh no! What if he noticed my tail?! Or my ears?! Oh no! Not good! As I was freaking out the boy looked over to me, I mean Ciel. Wow it's been so long since I've know someone's actual name. I was a blushing mess as I was internally freaking out about him finding out and how I would explain it. He smirked.
"You know most people would sit on the other side so they'd have more room."
I managed to mutter a sorry as my ears flattened as I tried to keep from trembling. What would he do to me? I got up to go to the other side when he yanked me back down. I shook harder.
"I didn't say you had to move, I quite like your company. Plus it's dangerous to move while the carriage is moving. I wouldn't want you to get hurt more."
Suddenly I had felt calm. His voice wasn't angry, it was somewhat comforting. I stopped shaking and managed to smile up at him. He looked back at me and it seemed as though he had the slightest smile on his face, no I must be seeing wrong. As the carriage continued the stress  and drowsiness had caught up to me in the cushioned seat. My eyes started to close as I felt my consciousness slipping away.

Ciel's P.O.V.

(Y/N) seemed to have fallen asleep, he looked peaceful, unlike when I first saw into his eyes. I wonder if it's possible to make them shine again? Or did they ever once shine with happiness? I can hardly remember the last time mine did...

Flashback

"Ciel, did you enjoy your Christmas gifts?"
"Yeah mama! I get to sleep with you and papa tonight right?!"
"Haha of course you do, but for now how about you go play with Lizzie? She's been looking at you for a while."
"Ok!" I ran over and hugged my cousin

Flashback end

That horrible day I just want to forget about it, but if I did I couldn't get my revenge. They...!
The carriage hit a bump breaking me out of my thoughts. I saw (Y/N) start to fall over do I quickly grabbed him and rested his head on my shoulder, it's better than him getting hurt. He managed to distract me from my horrible memories without even being awake. I wonder what horrible memories are hidden behind his uncover face. Why am I so intrigued by him?
