We kissed. I was shocked. More than shocked, electrified with excitement?
We broke apart for air, we stared at each other for a moment before we both blushed enough to look like a bad makeup artist had applied blush to us.
"So uhh.. Whats wrong?"
She looked down for a piece of paper. She found one and wrote on it: "My mom is dead."
I stared at the paper for a moment before I took in what it said. "Where are you gonna go..."
"Foster home, probably... Or to my drunk uncle.."
'Oh..' I thought.
