You never saw me until now

The basic background chapt. 1

I'm Audrey, I'm 16,a junior in high school and I go to a fancy private school. I know what your thinking, you probably think I'm some preppy girl who only cares about herself but your wrong. I'd like to say I'm more than that.

I'm quiet most of the time and I don't standout I kinda just fade away.
Our private school has a bus system that everyone that attends Alliance (school name)
Uses so know one drives to school. You are assigned to busses by grade and name so if your friend lives right next to you but her name is at the opposite end of the alphabet you still ride separate busses.

My bus picks me up at 7:00 and we reach school at about 7:30.

I swear no one on my bus even knows I exist because I sit in the back and basically keep my mouth shut.
The only time you will catch me talking to someone is if its forced or if my best friend is around. She is the only person who knows anything about me and sticks by my side.
She rides a different bus sadly so I'm all alone on mine.

I sit in the back with headphones in and either reading or writing in my journal.

There are some pretty obnoxious kids on my bus including the popular kids; Dylan is one of the hottest boys in school and with him are Jake, Ben,CiCi and Jenna.
They kinda rule the school and bus. they are what people would say is perfect.

Everyone knows the middle section is theirs so I stay in the back where I can't be seen.

Oh and before I end this whole back story thing just want to let you know afternoons are kinda nice because any kid who isn't in after school programs rides the bus home, luckily the popular kids are involved in sports and what not.

▪Second week of junior year▪

As usual I wake up at 6:00 and get ready for the day. We have uniforms so I never have to fret about what to wear in the morning. I eat a bagel and banana about every morning and then I wait outside for the bus.
My parents are constantly working. They are gone from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I'm not very close with my parents but I do have a sister in college that I call a lot.
As I waited for the bus I texted my sister one last time and put my headphones in right away. Like normal the bus pulled up I get on and go straight to the back, almost as if no one even noticed I walked by. As I sit down I just relax and think about the day ahead of me.
I can't help but over hear the popular crew, it's kinda hard not to when they are so loud and awake every morning.

They were talking about football and homecoming. Dylan seems so perfect and I wish he would notice me but then again it's better he doesn't. He lives up the street from me and I swear his house is the prettiest I've ever seen, not only that there are like 6 cars parked there and only 3 people live there.
When we arrive to school I head straight to first period while others hang and chat.
