i can't wait for this :)!!
_____

College.

Even the word sounds nerve-wracking. At the moment i was sitting in my new dorm, thoughts overflowing my brain.

I was perplexed. Thinking of the worst possible scenarios.

What if my roommate hates me?

What if she's allergic to the sun and hides out in the shadows?

What if she was bit by a shark and now has a fear of animals?

Unlikely, I know.

I had been biting my nails that they had looked like they were on the brink of extinction. I sighed, starting to pace around my neat space.

"You okay?" I spun around, seeing a short, brunette girl. She giggled at my jumpiness and I slightly smiled.

"I think so. What's your name?" I stuck out my hand to shake, hoping she'd accept.

"Bella." She gently grabbed my hand and smiled, "What about you?"

"Lily." Relief washed over me, this girl didn't seem so bad.

"So, I'm guessing we're roomies, huh?" I nodded, feeling an awkward aura.

"Well that means we're required to be best friends." She grinned at me as I laughed.

She walked past as I sat on my bed, silently humming to some song i've heard on the radio.

"So, did you hear about that frat party tonight? I heard it was gonna be wild." She looked back at me, searching for a reaction but i just shrugged.

"Eh, I'm not really a party girl, seeing as i was never invited to parties." Bella gasped, giving me a look of sympathy. Was it really that big of a deal?

"We have to go. Your first party! It'll be amazing! And don't worry I will introduce you to people." Bella gave me a warm smile as she stuffed her drawer with jeans.

I fell back on my bed. Maybe college wouldn't be so bad, I thought as i shut my eyes.

I don't know why i'm so nervous. I've done school for many years now. It's nothing new. I guess it's just the feeling of being separated from the people you've been with forever, it makes you a little worried about who you'll meet.

"Earth to Lilian!" I shot up and scanned the room, seeing Bella hovering over me.

"Don't call me that." Groaning, I got up. I looked at the time and gasped. The party was at  8 and it was 7.

"Yeah, we have an hour. Move your ass." I scurried off to my closet and looked through my belongings.

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

"Well i guess i'm not going." I hit my head against the wall, closing my eyes.

"Aha, funny. We're going. Wear something of mine." I had finally noticed Bella was ready. She looked absolutely stunning. Her black dress had cutouts on her sides and it fit her nicely. Her makeup was fit to perfection as her hair lay down on her back.

I scavenged through her closet, looking for something that wasn't skimpy or too nun-like.

My eye had caught a white dress. Lacey on the sleeves and a white body.
