And so, once again, Olivia was running. she ran past trees and empty plains. Across dull streets and dim lights. Once again, her lungs felt as if a ruthless fire had erupted in them.
As you can tell, her pain was very meticulous.
Suddenly, they came to a halt. Olivia observed her surroundings. She was standing in the centre of a concrete slab, that stretched beyond sight, disappearing into the horizon.
Olivia looked down, and there, circling her feet was a deep carving.
Knowing what tricks the government could run. She looked deeply into his eyes, and got somewhat lost in his emerald embers. Olivia snapped into reality once more, before returning to the man in front of her.
"What is this?" She asked, her voice hardly audible. She felt betrayal creep into her throat, even though she had hardly met him.
He looked away, before returning to her.
"I'm sorry, Olivia. It's for the best."
"I thought you were a little more scared of me than this. You just ran miles with me by your side. And I'm standing right next to you. One touch and you could die. Slowly. From the inside out. Your organs could wither away. Shrivel up up. Rot."
"Well, nonetheless, you will be taken back to the vicinity of the government, and put into custody for the actions you displayed during your breakout."
Olivia sighed. She allowed the carving in the pavement to swallow her, as she returned to her dark cell, letting the lack of light swallow her, sucking her deep into its depths.
