Malfoy is cradling his beautiful daughter in his arms and smiling intently, when Hermione suddenly frowns.
"What happened to your dark mark?" She blurts out. Draco sighs but then looks up at Hermione, admiring her angelic face.
"I went to a tattoo artist and got it replaced with an otter." Malfoy states, as if it were a completely normal and obvious thing to do. There's a short moment of silence and Lauren Malfoy produces what sounds like a quiet giggle.
Why?" Draco chuckles his dark laugh that Hermione was so used to hearing and rolls his eyes.
"Well I didn't want to keep that ugly old thing on my arm did I?"
Hermione rolls her eyes as well and sighs.
"No, I mean... Why an otter?" Malfoy kisses his daughter's nose lightly and she giggles again. Looking back up to Hermione, he frowns for a second and then smirks.
"Well, it's your patronus... Isn't it?" There's a heavy silence and then Hermione's face breaks into a huge smile.
"I love you, Draco Malfoy." He smiles and winks.
"Love you more." They laugh together, Lauren Malfoy included, and savour their blissful joy. Lucius strolls in and everybody falls completely silent.
"Well you all seem, to be having fun." They all look at each other and nobody says anything. Draco wafts his hand in the air in front of his face.
"Lauren needs changing." Lucius looks at them all, rather disapprovingly and struts out with a scowl on his face.
