"Oh, yeah! Well, how come you didn't tell me about this?" I said pulling out the letter and slamming it on my desk. My dad tried to start another argument. He was reading the letter. "Mhm. That's why we're always arguing. Because you're not even my real dad! I'm going to meet my real family rather you like it or not!" I yelled. He silently gave me the letter and walked out of my room. I texted my girls since it was Friday night.

I threw my phone onto my bed and waited for the girls to come. When all of them were in my room, I took the picture off the wall and grabbed the package. "This is what I got in the mail today." I said, laying everything on my bed for them to see. "You're adopted?" Megan asked. "And I just found out." I said back. "Wow, you look just like your mom. She's pretty." Emma added. "Your baby sister is so cute!" Morgan said. "And yo dad is fine." Jakia said which made everyone giggle. "He owns a hotel and my mom is a model." I explained. "My sister's name is Royalty. She's three, but we don't have the same father." I said. "So? Are you going?" Morgan asked, holding up my plane ticket. "Yep, and no one is stopping me." I said. I put all my stuff back in the drawer and we all went to sleep.
