As I got out of Ava's car, I felt the familiar nerves begin to kick in. It was my first day in the new school year and I couldn't wait for it to be over already. It was always the same people, and the same routine each and every year.
Boring unnecessary classes, nasty school lunch, attention sluts, and annoying, cocky jerks who care more about choosing their next victim in which they would screw, rather than changing their own underwear. Then there's my clique and I. I do not define myself as anything special.
I am not a beautiful, sporty, blond girl with long legs and a perfect slim body. I'm quite the opposite. I'm short with long black hair that reaches to the top of my butt. I have curves in all the right places , my skin is a light tan color, and my eyes are the darkest shade of brown known to man. "Aubrey, hello" I was snapped out of my daydream by Ava's obnoxious fingers snapping in my face.
Ava was effortlessly gorgeous. She's the kind of girl who wakes up in the morning looking like a complete angel.
She is averaged height with long golden locks of hair that stretch down to the middle of her back. Her stomach is perfectly flat, she has the type of body any girl would kill for. Sometimes, I can't help but secretly envy my best friend's beauty.
"You know if you keep spacing out like this, I can't even begin to imagine how well you will do this school year. Senior year is important you know?" Ava began to lecture me.
"Don't start" I replied faking annoyance. "Just step inside, you're blocking the way for everyone" Ava replied grinning.
"What are you" I was cut short when I realized we were standing right outside our homeroom and first period class. Just as I entered the classroom, I spotted the one person I was dreading to see.
The guy who made my entire high school experience and every Summer miserable. It was the most arrogant, cocky, rude, sarcastic, and annoying guy I have ever met. It was Cameron.
I couldn't help but flick him off when I passed by him and noticed a stupid smirk form across his face. I sat on the same assigned seat I have had for the past four years, which just so happened to be the desk right in front of him.
"Look who we have here. You are looking sexy in those jean shorts Bree. I might just take you home today, seeing as I need your help with something." Cameron said while winking at me and licking his lips.
"You know that sounds pretty nice but, I have better things to do than waste my time helping you find your manhood with a magnifying glass. But thanks for the offer." I retorted.
Idiot. who did he think he was?
There is nothing I hate more then his stupid nickname for me. I swear, if our parents didn't get along so well, I wouldn't mind secretly plotting something crazy and mischievious against him. Then again, I should really stop dreaming so much.
As I stood up and turned around to place my bag on the floor, I felt my butt cheek sting and could not stop the instand reflex of smacking the owner of the hands right across their face. I felt my cheeks heat up and turn the darkest shade of red as anger took over me when I saw the filthy, daring hands belonged to Cameron.
"Aubrey, to the principals office now!" My teacher Mr.Kim yelled. "Are you friking kidding me?, that little prick just smacked my ass!" I exclaimed. "I will not have you both disrupt my classroom on the first day. Both of you out of here now!" Mr.Kim yelled just as loud.
Great, my first day of school and already heading to the principals office. I gave Ava a look that told her I would see her later and she returned it with a sympathetic one. Cameron walked alongside me and I couldn't help but give him a distatesful look. Stupid jerk getting me in trouble on the first day. "Oh come on sweetheart, you'll live". He said.
I walked as fast as I could and got away from him. I don't even know what girls see in him anyways. I mean, sure he's a gorgeous guy with blonde and brown hair, hazel eyes, and an amazing body. But besides that, he was a complete jerk and I despised him. He acted completely innoccent when his parents would come over my house for dinner, or when we would go over theirs for dinner, but when it was just him and I , he acted like a jerk.
When I got to the hallways of the principals office, he was already there sitting down, the picture of pure arrogance. Cameron was called in first and just as I sat down on one of the three chairs in the small hallway, I saw a familiar gorgeous face approching me. My boyfriend Will is tall with an average body, he has blonde hair and green eyes. He is the sweetest, most caring guy and I am extremely lucky to have him. I honestly do not know what he saw and still sees in me.
"Hey beautiful girl. What are you doing here?". Oh crap, if Will finds out i'm in trouble and it's because of Cameron, he would freak out. Will doesn't like him because of the times he has caught Cameron trying to flirt with me. "Um" I hesitated. "Are you in trouble already baby" He said trying to hold back a smile. "Maybe just a little." I responded then pouted at him.
He leaned forward and took my bottom lip in his mouth gently sucking and biting it. We began to kiss and just as the kiss was getting deeper, I heard someone clear their throat. Principal Martinez stood infront of us with Cameron alongside him and a stern look on his face.
"Step right into my office Ms.Collins" Principal Martinez said in his heavy hispanic accent. "Wait, are you in trouble because of this little prick?" Will asked me.
"Oh how cute, boyfriend to the rescue Bree?"
Cameron asked in his oh so sarcastic tone of voice. I rolled my eyes and looked at Cameron who clearly found the whole situation hilarious, judging by the smirk on his face.
"Jealous none of your bimbos came to your rescue now are we?"
"We'll talk later baby" I said to Will while walking and entering the office. As I walked away I could of sworn I heard Cameron whisper 'Yes we will' but I wasn't quite sure. I could already tell this is going to be a long year.
