The new camper at my camp [Chapter Two]

Chapter Two

"Mom is going to freak when she finds out that you were hanging out with a boy, you know" Mary said.

I made a face.

"Auctually, that's not true, in fact, mom wanted me to go introduce myself to the new neighbor."

"I still think that she is going to freak. Did you even see how hot he was?" Mary asked.

"Mary, you really shouldn't be saying things like that seeing how you are only eight" I said with a frown.

"You think he's hot, don't you" she asked like she was figuring me out.

"Does it really matter?" I retorted.

"Yes" she said then took a sip of her chocolate milk.

"I honestly don't see why it matters, so there for, I won't tell you anything at all" I replied stubbornly.

"Well, I guess that you can't even look at other guys because of Jack" she said.

"Jack is Brianna's boyfriend, not mine Mary. I'm guessing that your reading my diary again. I told mom that I should put a lock on it, but she just won't let me. Stop reading my diary, or I will start reading yours." I said.

"Hey, don't look now, but guess who just walked in the door."

Despite what she said, I turned and looked anyway.

"No way, it's the crazy llama" I said jokingly, and Mary gagged. It wasn't a crazy llama, but it was Jason, and he was heading our way to our empty table. No one ever sat by us because we were like freaks in a way.

I can't believe it. Jason was going against the 'rules' and was going to sit by us. Of course he doesn't have any food becuase he wasn't hungry. Following behind him was another little boy around Mary's age maybe.

"Hey Anna, hows it going" Jason asked me.

"It's going just fine, thank you. We were just talking about you" Mary said before I even had a chance to open my mouth. I blushed again.

"Okay" Jason said nervously, "this is my little brother John. He's nine. John, this is Anna and Mary."

"Hey" Mary said flirtly, "I'm Mary."

John tuged on Jason's shirt making him bend down and whispered something in his ear. Jason laughed.

I took that as a chance to look around Mess Hall and saw that everyone was staring at us. More like the girls were glaring at me and the guys were glaring at Jason.

"Everyone's stairing" I whispered to Jason as he sat down right next to me. He just shrugged.

"I'm used to it" he said like he was bored of the topic already.

I looked across the tabel and saw Mary and John engaged in thier own little conversation.

I sighed and Jason looked at me like i was crazy. Mary got just about anything that she wanted including the guys.

"Anna doesn't even have a boyfriend Jason" Mary said out of the blue and then her and John started laughing. I looked like a mad bat out of hell and Jason looked stunned.

"Wow" Jason finally said like he was confused.

"That was a hint idiot. Oh, and Anna, Jason doesn't have a girlfriend either." John said.

Now it was my turn to laugh.
