After the interview, Courtney was drawn to Barnes&Noble. She had found the book the Sandra Rayford, the creator of Cat instincts, had wrote. Figuring that if she was going to pay money to spend a day at a seminar on women's confidence, she should at least see if its worth her time. On the front of the cover was the title Cat Instinct with a faded white tiger in the background and the body of a curvy girl at the bottom, wearing something from Beyoncè's singles ladies video.

Well it looks good.

Courtney flipped it over reading the reviews. All seemed to be good reviews from the top magazines, blogs, and newspapers. Tightening her lips together she opened it to read the description inside.

Courtney closed the book and looked once more at the chapter. Saying to herself.

Maybe it is time.

She laughed at herself, denying that one book would ever change her life. If this book could do what the author believed then why aren't more women using it. Then, her mind spoke.

Well if it doesn't work, you can always return it.

Courtney smirked her head. Yeah...I could. She grabbed her book, walking up to the cash register and waiting in line. The woman standing in front of her looked back at her from over her shoulder. Courtney gently smiled and took a step back.

"I've read that." Spoke the woman. She turned around to face Courtney, "Helped me through one of my worse relationships. Did you hear about the movement the author is having?"

Courtney smiled and raised her eyebrows, "Yes actually. I'm going on the one they are having Saturday."

"What about Sunday?"

"I didn't know they were having one on Sunday."

The woman moved up with the line, "Its not going to be in the same place. Its at a in Bridgeton. Not that much of a drive from here."

Courtney knew the place. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive. Her car didn't burn as much gas but that would be 9 hours she would spend driving. Courtney smiled awkwardly.

"I'll think about it." Courtney lied.

She thought about it and the answer was no. The woman ahead of her moved up to the next avalible cash register.

Courtney returned to her apartment to find dishes in the sink. She had learned to deal with Jada's nastiness after the first few months of living with each other.

Courtney would put on her food and go back and forward between checking on it and cleaning up the apartment. Picking up clothes, putting them in the dirty clothes, straighten up the pillows on the couch, check food, vacuum the floor, sweep the kitchen, check food, wash the dishes...by the time Courtney had finished two hours have passed.
