💫|HARRY'S POV|💫
February 23, 1:46 p.m.
"My mum said you can come over after school. She really misses you and would like to see you again." Danny says as he takes a bite of his apple.
I smile and nod. Ever since my birthday, I've been seeing Danny everyday. He's been coming over to the house to check up on me and to just hang out with me and Louis. I'm really glad. I've missed him so much and it's really nice catching up. He hasn't changed a bit.
"Great. I'll just have to tell Louis." I smile, getting up to throw my empty tray away. I look back over to where Louis's sitting in the cafeteria.
He's with Shawn and Johnny and Cody and whoever those other kids are that were at the party. Me and Louis have been dating for a while now, but I don't hang around him during school. We just have different groups of friends. I'm okay, though. I have Daniel. He's the best company a guy can have.
I walk back over to him and he smiles when I sit beside him.
"You're still a great writer, I see." He says, looking at my laptop that's in his lap.
I've been writing again, thanks to Louis. But, it's not the type of writing they think it is.
"It's still really sad, but deep. It's amazing. You should publish it someday." He says, closing the laptop and giving it back to me. I quickly shake my head.
"It's not that good." I tell him, slipping it into my backpack. I hear him scoff.
"Would you stop doubting yourself? You're amazing, you've always been." He smiles at me. I feel myself blush deeply as I look away.
The effect is still there. I know it shouldn't be, but I feel it. But, I'm with Louis. Nothing can come of this.
"Come on, love. Let's go to the LRC. I have to pick up my textbook." He says. I nod and stand up, flinging my backpack over my shoulder. I feel his hand slip in mine and I automatically lace my fingers with his as we walk out of the cafeteria.

'I'm going out anyway. See you tonight curly x'
Louis texted me back. I sigh softly, rolling my eyes. I knew that he wouldn't have a problem with me coming over to Danny's place. Lately he's been hanging out with Johnny and Steven and The Burnouts. He's invited me, but I'm uncomfortable around them. I'd rather be home alone and feel like myself than go out with a bunch of people I don't know.
"You okay, love? You look upset." Danny asks kindly. I just nod and give him a smile.
"Yeah, Louis' going out tonight so it shouldn't matter what time I get home." I tell him. He furrows his eyebrows.
"Why should it matter if he's there or not when you return?" He asks.
"Isn't it his mother that gives you a curfew?" He adds. I shrug.
"She doesn't mind what time we come home. She trusts us. And Louis just likes having me home when he's there so he isn't alone, I guess."
"Oh.." He mumbles. "Are you hungry? I have snacks." He says, walking into the kitchen. I follow.
"Sure." I say, sitting down on one of the chairs in the kitchen.
I watch as he reaches up to the higher cabinets and opens in. I watch the muscles in his back stretch and contract. The muscles are prominent and thick. He's been working out so much. It's really noticeable. He looks great.
I snap out of my trance when he slams the cabinet door shut and turns around.
"Are cookies okay?" He asks, pack of cookies on the table.
"Yeah.." I smile, reaching from them. He smiles and nods. "You can go up to my room. First door on the left. I'll bring up some drinks."
I nod and stand up, heading upstairs to his room. When I get into his bedroom, I look around and see the posters on his wall. Different artists of different genres. I smile as I see Coldplay and Radiohead. He's still a fan of them. Memories start to flood in my mind from when we were kids. We used to sit around his old house listening to those two bands from the same headphones. We'd be cuddled across his bed, or on the floor in his living room. Those were the moments I was mostly content. I've never taken one of those moments for granted.
"Sorry, my room's a bit messy. I didn't get a chance to clean up." I hear Daniel say. I smile softly, turning around.
"It's fine." I tell him, taking the soda he held out to me. He returns my smile and sits down on his bed and gestures for me to join him.
"I can't believe you still have all of these posters." I giggle, sitting beside him. I feel his arm wrap around me and I automatically lean into him. His arms are soft and warm just like it's always been. I hear myself sigh contently while I melt into his arms.
"They're still my favorite bands." He chuckled.
"Remember when we were little, we would sit around and listen to Coldplay and Radiohead all day?" He says. I smiled and nodded.
"I was just thinking that."
He chuckles beneath me and I grip onto his shirt as he turned on the tv. He quickly goes on Netflix and we look through the list of movies.
After a bit of browsing, we settle on a foreign film and stay cuddled together on his bed. His fingers automatically play with the curls in my hair and I lay my head on his chest.
This is the best comfort I've had in days.
