Chapter One (The Usuale)
"Ohhh," I mumbled as I yawned. Stretching as I stood up, I felt as if I could stretch for miles. Picking my cute stuffed white tiger up and giving it a big smooch, and sitting it back down. Time to get up I thought to myself. Walking to my bathroom was a hastle, since I was having to hurdle over and dodge trash, food, and junk. It looks like a tornado hit my room, wait let me rephrase that, my whole house looks like a hurricane came roaring through it. I kind of like it that way, even though I really do need to clean, and soon. Eh it's too early for that crap.
When I finally, reached my bathroom in one piece I looked in the mirror. It's foggy from soap scum and dirt, so it's hard to see myself clearly. I looked down at the floor until I found what I was looking for, a shirt to wipe the mirror off. I dropped the shirt on the edge of the sink, and looked back up at the mirror. I looked at my eyes and I became amused at how my right eye has a section of blue in it. I smiled with my thick lips and opened the cabinet behind the mirror. I pulled out a tooth brush and a hair band. I put the tooth brush in the sink and held the hair band between my lips, while pulled my red, rambunciously curly hair back. I held my hair in place with one hand and took the hair band with the other and tied off my hair. My hair looked like a fluffy cloud because all of the curls. Then I got some tooth paste and grabbed my tooth brush and brush my pearly whites.
When I was done I ran some water and I dipped my hands into it then nicely rinsing my face off. I dried my hands on the shirt, and I walked to my closet, which is right across my room and grabbed some baggy jeans and a black tank top. To me a tank top is more of an undershirt but they are so comfortable without clothes over them. I slipped them on quickly and grabbed a sweater just incase school is chilly today.
"Will! Get your little skinny ass out here right now!" My mom yelled agitatingly down the apartment hallway. We live in an two bedroom apartment in a small town so it's on the ground not stories high. Dad is always gone to God knows where, and I'm getting real used to it. I mean his hot brunette Secretary is so much more important than his family. When he is here, he's either passed out on the couch or on his computer pretending to be working. I mean I've never caught him cheating on mom, but I'm pretty sure he is.
We're slightly middle-class people which means we're not completely poor and we're definitely not rich. We're in the middle. Otherwise we wouldn't have an apartment would we? We get by fine, it's just my mom is so stressed and she's not herself anymore. She used to be spunky, funny, and spontaneous. I miss that, because she's edgy lately and that pushes my buttons. Going through the one out of a hundred reasons in my head as to why she acts like that; I'm settling with menopause and Dad's just no help.
"I'm coming gosh dangett! Hold your horses!" I yelled back in the same tone she was using.
If you didn't notice, my mother called me Will. No it's not a guys name and no they didn't name me that because they wanted a boy. It's short for Willow, Willow McKinley. Only one person calls me Willow instead of Will, and that would be Leo. Leo is my one and only friend, and always has been, even though he's one year older than me. I sometimes call him Tiger just to mess with him, since he's the one who gave me that stuffed Tiger. Get it Leo, Tiger? Yeah it took him a minute too.
You see he's the only one I really ever talk to, but this girl Teagan What's-her-name, has been trying to get me to go to this kegger with her. I don't know why though I mean I'm just not the type to hang out with girly girls. Okay it's just weird of her to ask me to go. Anyways, those parties are for the popular crowd, and well I'm not popular. There is one reason that I might go. Ashton Niles the sexiest, most nicest, jock is going to the kegger. I'm still not sure yet, so let's just wait and see.
