There was the warrior on the outside that held her shield as a defence to hide behind, allowing everyone to believe she was strong. Underneath was the weak girl she was covering up. The one that ran from the boy who had forgotten her. The one who disappeared unable to cope with the pain and loss.

The scars that marked her body were a reminder to who she had been and who she would always be. There was no escaping who she was, only the freedom to run from her life. To run and never look back. Running was easier, she didn't have to stick around to have her heart broken or see her parents wearing forced masks around her.

Now Isabelle Lightwood had come across the town of Beacon Hills on her journey of traveling. A town that had no institute nearby but still seemed to attract the supernatural. This town was screaming for the Shadowhunter.

Isabelle is the new gym teacher at Beacon Hills High School that is in rivalry for the position against the coach. It wasn't what she wanted to do with her life but there's the strange that walks the school's hallways that's her job to work out. As Isabelle starts to unravel the supernatural of Beacon Hills, she never plans on her heart being caught in the process.
