Chapter 2: Star Accidently Destroys Her Wand

Star Butterfly POV

I always thought that if I ever broke my wand it would be caused because of something big. I never imagined it would break just because I dropped it in the school cafeteria.

It was an ordinary day. Marco and I were heading to the cafeteria for lunch. Earth has the most interesting foods! The stuff doesn't taste the best, but I'd never seen stuff like it.

I was standing in line when my best friend, Brittany, came over. She's the lead cheerleader. I went to her party and helped make it not boring! And I made little hats!

"Ugh! Star Butterfly." She said. It's our personal inside joke, she really means, "Hey BFF!"

"Hi Brittany!" I waved at her.

"Just so you know, I don't like you."

I laughed. "Your so funny Brittany!"

"Ugh! Your loserness is making me sad." She walked off.

"Bye!"

She's hilarious.

It was finally my turn in the lunch line. "Hi Ms. Lunch lady!"

"I have a name you know." She grumbled.

"What's on the menu today?" I asked.

"Can't you read." She pointed above me to the sign.

"Oh yeah! I'll have whatever's on there!"

The lunch lady grumbled and made my tray, "Here, Star."

She said my name like it was a terrible thing.

"Thank you! Bye"

Anyway, I walked over to my table and sat down.

"Hi, Marco." I said.

"Umm, hey Star." He mumbled.

I immediately knew something was wrong and I absolutely had to fix it. I'd hate seeing my BFF on Earth upset.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Nothing." He said while stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets. "I just did something really stupid and messed up any chance I had with Jackie, I guess we are mess up twins."

"Oh your still upset about me saying we're mess up twins! That was forever ago."

He pulled his hood over his head "I don't really feel like talking."

I had to fix things between him and Jackie.

"I know!" I stood up, "I'll look for a spell in my book to make Jackie forget whatever Marco did!"

I began to head to the door and grabbed my wand. And then it happened.

I tripped over someone's foot and fell. I saw my wand fly across the air and hit the ground hard.

"My wand!" I cried.

And then it broke into a bunch of pieces.

"Star!" Marco ran over, "Are you okay?"

"Don't worry about me Marco," I pointed to my wand, "I broke my wand".

Marco held out a hand to help me up. "Don't worry."

"Don't worry? Marco are you crazy" I took his hand and stood up, "My mother will kill me."

I ran over to my shattered wand, "What if she sends me to-"

"To where?" Marco asked.

"ST. OLGA'S REFORM SCHOOL FOR WAYWARD PRINCESSES!!!!!" I wailed.

"I thought we tackled that fear, since it's all happy there now."

"Marco! That place was a living nightmare, I never want to go there again no matter what!"

"Okay....." Marco thought for a second, "How about we find someone who can fix it?"

"Who's gonna be able to fix my broken wand?" The shock went away and now sadness overtook me. This wand has been in my family for generations and I destroyed it. No wonder my family sent my away. I felt tears form in my eyes.

"Umm, Star?" Marco put his hand on my shoulder, "You okay?"

"Marco, we have to find someone to fix this wand."

"Then we better start looking." Marco grabbed my arm, "let's go!"
