Mark. The man I couldn't stop thinking about for a week was standing in front of me. I didn't realize how much I loved everything about him. His laugh, his smile, his jokes, he was everything I could ever ask for.
"Ken and Felix-." I stuttered, but Mark held his hand out.
"They can wait, trust me." Mark stated. Still shocked by his entrance, I said nothing.
"I missed you. I'm sorry for-."
"Don't be sorry, y/n." Mark cut it.
"Did I do something?"
"Not at all. You have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. I just needed some time alone. I should've been honest with you and I'm sorry for that."
My butterflies were in overdrive as Mark approached, every step making it harder to resist him than the last. I didn't understand why I couldn't remain angry at him.
"Well, be honest now!" I blurted.
Mark sat on the couch and patted the seat next to him.
"I have never liked someone as much as I like you. I know it hasn't been a while, and I know this may seem very strange," Mark said in one breath, "but I have really strong feelings for you. When I said you're worth more than some crappy Vegas wedding, you are. I haven't felt this happy in a really, long time. Tell me how you feel, y/n. I need to know."
Mark held my hands in his and gave me a weak smile.
"You're perfect." I said with a smile.
"That's it?" Mark questioned in surprise.
"I haven't had a real relationship in years. We just immediately clicked. I have never had this sort of connection with someone and I wouldn't ask for anyone else to spend my time with." I said with a blush.
Mark put his head on mine and smiled.
"I think we should make this official. What do you think?" Mark asked, still smiling.
"I don't know Mark," I teased, "those fans of yours-"
"If anyone has a problem," Mark said before he placed his lips on mine and continuing, "they'll get over it. No one can stay mad at Markimoo the Magnificent!"
Mark kissed me again, but this time it was nothing I had ever experienced. It was much more passionate, needing. He then moved to my neck, placing delicate kisses until he reached my shoulder. I shivered and held back the urge to jump off the couch.
"Mark-." I stuttered.
"Nurse?" He asked as he smiled into my neck.
"Mark, Felix and Ken are going to be worried." I struggled to verbalize.
"I said," Mark said as he placed his hand on my thigh, looking me straight in the eyes, "they can wait."
His lips crashed onto mine as we both struggled for control. I could never tell someone missed me in a kiss before this moment. My hands instantly clasped the collar of his flannel and pulled him closer as my back nestled into the couch. His hand went up my thigh and stopped right by my butt, causing shivers to run down my spine.
He tried deepening the kiss a few times, but I wouldn't allow it. It felt good having some sort of control over him. Right as Mark's hand reached my shirt, a buzzing sound caused me to freeze.
"Don't answer it." Mark begged as he went back to my neck.
"Mark."
"I'm not stopping."
