The American hero's

O raise your head, my beloved soldier
My son, my father, my brother

The battle is not done
Nor has it begun

A battle of destruction
Bowing overhead

O raise your head, my beloved soldier
You face is wet with rain
Standing all alone

Can you hear them singing
The songs of Sundays praise
Praying for you to come home soon

But now the sun shines down
On your gleaming eyes

Behold the wonderful nation
The one that you protect

That you serve
That you fight for

To help
To raise

And on this glorious day,
The battle has been won

We stand together beneath the triumph
It's colors of red, white and blue
A banner of Stars and Stripes
A symbol of freedom

One made
By the American hero's
