Chapter 17: The Reason

 

~Doushitte Kimi wo suka ni natte shimattan darou

  Dou nani toki ga nagarette to kimi wa zutto

  Koko ni iru to Omotteta noni 

  Demo kimi ga eranda no wa chigau michi

(Kai's phone is ringing.)

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Master, this guy just wont tell the truth."

"Okay, I'll come there and teach him his lesson."

*hung up

         After he hung up, he hurriedly sprinted to Chanyeol's room to tell him 

      After he took the phone , he went back to the room. "Hyung, I need to teach that bastard some lesson. Just don't forget what I told you.. She's still not safe until we already knew what's really happening."  

"Kai.. thanks." Chanyeol held his shoulders and patted it gently.

"I'll go with you." Hyo Jin grasp Kai's arm to stopped him.

"You can't." Chanyeol replied shortly.

"But why?" 

"I don't know what will I do, If your life was put into danger again." 

"But, I'm the reason why all of this is happening." She insisted.

"I told you, you can't.."

"Please Chanyeol, Let me.." 

      Hyo Jin begged him and he was left with no choice but to let her. Once Chanyeol finally let her, she hurriedly exit the room and wait for Kai outside.

Kai as he was about to exit his room when ..

"K-Kai.." Chanyeol softly mumbled which made Kai stopped and looked at him.

"Please.. Take good care of her."  He half smiled at him.

"I will." Then he finally came out of the room.

                 Hyo Jin was there, waiting for him.. When she noticed that he was already there, she stood and followed him. Kai pushed the button of the elevator that shows the sign "go down". When the elevator opened they came inside and went to the basement.

"Wait here, I'll just get my car." said Kai and left her as he walked to the location of where he parked his car.

            Hyo Jin was just standing there waiting for him, when suddenly.. "Hop on" She heard his voice and looked towards where that voice came from. Her mouth dropped wide open, with her eyes rounded in amusement once she saw his car. *Ferrari.. she thought in herself as she examined his car with her eyes. Kai noticed her and just let out a soft chuckle. "Don't just stand there lady, I said get in." Hyo Jin was finally back to her senses. She looked at him still amuse, Kai replied her with a smirk. 

"Get in" Kai ordered again so she did. But--

"Why.is.the.door.not.opening?" She said as she was giving her all pulling his car's door.

Kai couldn't help it but to laugh at her..well what should we call it? Stupidness? Hahaha.

"Kai, you might want to unlock the door, cause I think It was locked, I can't open it.. I.CAN'T." She mumbled half annoyed at the door not opening no matter how much effort she exerted on pulling it.

"It's already unlock." Kai replied shortly as he tried to gasp some air cause he couldn't control himself but to laugh at her already annoyed face.

"Kai !!!! " She shouted angrily. "What are you doing? I said unlock the door!" This time she was really pissed off.

"I already said it was already unlock." He replied still laughing so hard.

"Then, why is this door not opening? For God's sake ! Don't you ever lie to me, I'm really pissed of right now !" She shouted, already pissed off.

"Okay. Okay, I'm sorry. Why don't you try to pull it upwards?" replied Kai as he tried his best to calm himself cause he thinks that she might be even more annoyed if she knew that he was laughing at her.

"What? Do you think, I'm stupid?! Why would I pull it upwards?! I might be an average person, but I'm not that fool ! I know everything about racing cars and there's no such things such a-- She was cutted when Kai came out of his car and opened the door for her.. upwards..

"Guess you really knew everything about racing cars, eh? 0.001 out of 10" He smirked at her and get inside his car.

Hyo Jin came inside too, speechless..

"You must be studying hard about race cars?" said Kai as he started the engine and doong! Cool !

"I really know anything about race cars, but this was the first time I encountered such cars like this.." She replied softly as she ducked down her head to embarassment.

             Kai looked at her and let out a soft chuckle.

"Here" He lended her a Pangtoa Binggrae Ice Cream.

"Is this for me?" Hyo Jin asked as she looked at him and hesitated is she'd accept the ice cream or not.

"Just eat this" He opened her hands and put the ice cream in her.
