Chapter 6

-ARIANA'S (CHLOE'S) POV-

*knock, knock, knock*

"Come in!" I yell

"Hey Ari are you ready for your first mission?" One of the agents asks, I think her name is Ruby, if I'm not mistaken.

"Yea, I think I am" I reply with smile.

"We'll then, come on!" She says grabbing my arm, as well as my luggage, damn this girl is strong.

I giggle, "exited are we?" I ask her.

"Whatever." She giggles.

We finally arrive at the exit for the agency, its in a very secret place, so secret I can't even tell you.... just kidding it's literally a front door to a company. The building is disguised as some company, I don't know..

"Okay Ari, this cab is going to take you to the airport, you'll them take a flight to Dallas." She states

"Okay, anything else?" I ask

"Oh yea, Bart will be at the airport to pick you up, he'll then fill you in on all the plans for the events and so on, then he'll tell you, your room number, don't worry you have your own separate room..." she trails "you know, for whenever you wana get some" she teased laughing

I playfully smack her shoulder and laugh, "your seriously crazy!"

"I know" she replies calming down from laughing so hard, "the real reason you have your own room is well, you need to keep a technological eye on things, so basically you'll be using and setting up cameras." She says

"Okay, wait, where's the equipment?" I asked confused.

"Oh don't worry, its already in the hotel room, so when you go in for the first time make sure no one is following, because they will suspect something. Remember Ariana, no matter what never let your guard down." She said with sympathy laced in her voice, you could tell she really cares.

"I won't Ruby, I promise" I said as I pulled her in for a hug.

She smiled sweetly, "bye love, I can't wait for you to come back! Maybe we could be partners!" She said, her smiling growing from ear to ear.

"That's if I come back..." I mumbled. To be honest I was scared, I'm one of the best junior agents, but still. I'm terrified, but I know that if I do this, I might come closer to finding my mother. So if death could possibly be involved, I'm willing to take that chance.

"Ari, look at me" she said lifting my chin up, tilting my head upwards, "don't worry, everything is going to be okay, your strong, smart, fast, beautiful! Everything is going to work out, I know your terrified, I was too, many moons ago, but you'll be okay, I promise you." She said with pure honesty in her voice.

"Thank you Ruby." I said as I hugged her one last time, very tight might add.

We pulled apart and I headed towards the airport.

*AT AIRPORT*

I felt as if someone was watching me.

I walked thought the airport, with my luggage. I could see someone, following my every footstep. Something's not right here.

I quickly made a sharp turn, to see if they'd still be following me. No, they weren't following me, its all just in my head I guess.

But then I made another turn as I headed to the right gate so that I could board the plane. And there he was. The man that was following about a minute or so ago.

He smiled at me, a creepy and seductive smile. I'm starting to panic now. I quickly rushed to the bathroom, which was surprisingly empty. I almost instantly felt someone grab my wrist and push me against the bathroom wall.

I looked up at the figure. "Uum what are you doing." I said more as a statement rather than a question.

"I'm just looking at a beautiful girl, what are you doing?" He asked smirking.

"Okay listen up I'm gona count to 3, if you don't back off. Lets just say we're going to play a little game.." I said smirking and biting my lip, he soooo isn't going to expect this.

"One."

"Two."

"Are you ready?" I asked as, he bite down on his bottom lip and nodded yes.

"Three" I whispered in his ear.

I quickly grabbed a hold of his wrist and twisted it, causing him to screech in pain. I hit my hand against his neck, which caused him to start gasping uncontrollably for air, I pushed him down on the floor. And put my foot on his chest.

"I'm sick and tired of men like you, thinking you can just come along and take your pick at any female. Gain some respect." I said and hit his throat which caused oxygen to once again fill his lungs.

He nodded terrified and I left him alone in the bathroom, probably shocked at what had just happened. Ha.

I finally boarded the plane and so my mission began.
