I pushed away from the desk, gritting my teeth. The writing really didn't work the way I wanted it, especially as two dark blond vampire warriors barged into the room, laughing and pushing at each other.
"No, not you," I grumbled and Kaden walked over, kissing my cheek before softly rubbing his nose into the crook of my neck. It was impossible for me not to bend my head to give him better access, only to remember what I was originally supposed to do.
"Stop it," I fussed and then moved away even though my heart was rapidly beating in my chest.
"But you're team twins,"Jaden mumbled from the bed around a mouthful of my chocolate.
Reaching over, I grabbed it out of his hands. "Steal much?"
He laughed, the warm, soft sound washing over me like the shower I had taken that morning. Damn, those two really were too good to be true. "Don't be that way, little scriptor," he teased and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Don't try charming me with languages you learned at one point or the other in your long centuries." Standing there, my hands placed on my hips, I couldn't do anything else but stare at the guys as Kaden, too, settled down lazily on my bed. It looked pretty cozy now, barely enough room for anyone.
"Still enough room for you," Jaden challenged and I took a deep breath.
"No, he can't read yourthoughts, but it was pretty clear on your face," Kaden grinned, holding out a hand to me. "Just a few minutes," he added, trying to coax me to give into their seductive present.
"I can't," I whined, but dark brown twin eyes focus on me, their puppy look perfected by now.
"But you're team twins,"Jaden repeated, pouting.
"I need to be team Mason,"I gave back and turned away to no longer be tempted by them.
"He's boring and human. Plus,we know you so much better and Sammy, we can make you real happy," Kaden mumbled. I sighed, closing my eyes. Their presence was, as usual, way too seductive.
"Thirty minutes," I finally gave in. My back hit the mattress in less time than it took me to finish the sentence.
"Keep telling yourself that," Kaden whispered, making sure his lips almost brushed my own. It didn't take longer than a few seconds and I again was lost in the world of the twins. The Morningstar world.
