Chapter 1: first day of school
Nicole!!! Time to get up!! Ugh, I groan and rollover , "Five more minutes!" I yell groggily.
"Hurry up your oatmeal is getting cold!" great. Soggy cold oatmeal, what a perfect breakfast to start my Monday Wich is sure to be horrible. See, I'm and exchange student, I just arrived in Cheshire,England the last week of summer vacation. I wasn't all thrilled about the move, ok I was straight up freaking out but my grandparents were from England and my parents wanted me to get to experience the old country they never had a chance to come back to, and I figured u know, YOLO right? Anyway I better get down and eat my oats before Lou, the woman I'm staying with, has an anxiety attack." Morning Lou, I smile as I enter the kitchen. Good morning, sleep well my dear? " " Yes, thank you", I say with a smile. Actually, I didn't get a wink of sleep I'm super nervous about my first day at a new school, and I'm 15 so whoop whoop, high school where all the cliches have been formed, and I'm the awkward chick with a Carolina accent. I don't want Lou to worry though, she's been very nice and never had any kids of her own.
" Now Nicole, I know u don't have your official license yet, only your permit but I have some errands to do around the house so I'm going to let you drive my car to school, remember to drive on the opposite site, your not in America anymore haha"
