Octavia POV
The next morning I woke up with Joe beside me. I looked at him. Soft snores left his mouth. A smile grew on my lips. Joe put his arm around me and pulled me closer.
"Let's sleep a little longer," Joe mumbled. I stroked his nose.
"We can't lay in bed all day." Joe groaned. He rolled on his belly.
I climbed on his back and played with his hair. Joe sighed. As much as I wanted to stay in bed too, I wanted to explore Samoa a little bit more since we had to leave soon.
"If you come out of bed, we can do something you like in the shower," I whispered in his ear. Joe smiled.
"Anything?" I nodded.
Joe moved. I got off his back and looked at Joe as he got up. He looked so sexy.
"Get up lazy ass, the day isn't waiting for us," Joe said, pulling my leg. I laughed.
Joe picked me up on his shoulder and walked to the bathroom with me. I shook my head. After we showered, if you can all it a shower, we went to the village where Joe his father was born. I met Mr. Anoa'i once but it was a short introduction.
"It's beautiful here," I said, admiring all the beautiful things. Joe nodded.
"Nothing is more beautiful then you Octavia." I blushed.
Hand in hand we walked over the beach. Joe kissed my hand. I stopped walking and looked at my wedding ring. I wasn't going to need that anymore. I took my ring off and threw it away. Joe smiled.
"It was about time baby girl," Joe said. I smiled.
We continued our walk when Joe suddenly stopped. I frowned.
"What is wrong?" I asked. Joe stroked my cheek.
"Octavia, I loved you ever since I saw you," Joe said. I nodded.
"I love you too." Joe looked at me. His gray eyes scanned my whole body. My heart was beating so fast.
"Baby girl.." Joe went on one knee. I gasped.
"Joe..." He wasn't, was he? This couldn't happen.
"I know this a little bit soon but I don't care how lucky my I have to wait but will you make me the luckiest man on earth and marry me?" Tears started to flow.
"I will Joe, I will!" He smiled and put the ring on my finger.
Passionately Joe kissed me. I put my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. People were clapping and cheering.
"I love you Joe," I whispered. Joe kissed my forehead.
"I love you too Octavia."
When we came back to the hotel, the room was filled with rose petals and candles. I looked at Joe. He lifted me up and carried me to the bed. Carefully Joe placed me on the bed.
"Let me love your beautiful body baby girl," Joe whispered as he kissed my neck. I bit my lip.
"I'm all yours baby." Joe took my clothes off and stroked my body.
Passionately Joe made love to me the whole night. It was like we made our engagement official. My body was still glowing for all the love making.
I looked at the ceiling. Joe was sleeping. Softly I got up and wore his shirt. I stood on the balcony and looked at the beautiful sight of the beach. Suddenly I felt two arms around me. Joe kissed my neck.
"Can't sleep?" I shook my head. Joe looked at me.
"No, I was thinking." I stroked his arms.
"About what baby girl?" I sighed.
"Us and the divorce." Joe nodded.
All of this made me realize that I wasn't meant to be with Ross. Our marriage lost its spark. I didn't love Ross like I used to. It was like a friendship. It wasn't like what I felt with Joe. With Joe, I felt like I was a woman who was being loved by her man. He gave me the love and affection I needed. I was enjoying being with Joe. He made me feel.. special.
Joe POV
The day was there that we had to leave back to the States and back to real life. I was looking forward to it because I had the woman I loved next to me. Octavia was packing her last things. I looked at her.
"Octavia?" She looked up and smiled.
"When the divorce is final, we don't have to get married right away. We can just wait a little bit," I said. Octavia walked to me and put her arms around my neck.
"All I want is to be with you Joe." I smiled and kissed her.
A few hours later, we sat on the airplane. Octavia was leaning against me. Satisfied I smiled. I looked at her hand. Finally she was going to be mine.
