'Run, please, keep running!'
I run, just like he told me to, but I'm running out of breathe, I don't think I can do this for much longer.
'Come on, Harley! We just need to go a bit farther, just until they can't smell our scent anymore.'
'I'm trying! I don't think I can do this much longer, Ty.'
'You have to, just a little more... trust me' He said the last bit in a whisper
Trust. I have to trust him, so we can both get out of this alive.
Breathe In. Out. In. Out.
We keep on running until we can hardly breathe. We both look back to see... well, nothing, just forest. I finally breathe out a sigh of relief, I look over to Ty and see he has done the same. When our eyes meet we smile at each other, the biggest smile I've seen over the past six years is on his face and I'm pretty sure mine is the same, but it's really no contest when you don't smile much.
"We did it Ty, we really got out of there." I said, my voice full of astonishment.
"I know, I know."
I was so happy. Six years. Six years! And we're finally free. Six years of being tortured, abused and yelled at 24/7, and we're home free... At least, that is what I thought.
All of a sudden, Black dots started clouding my vision, making it hard to see my surroundings. When I looked through all of the bush and trees I saw a tall figure about 10 metres away from us, staring intently.
NO, no, no, no, no, no, no, we just got out!
"Har!"
That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
