I heard sirens, maybe from an ambulance? Red and blue lights cascaded over the black darkness of the night. Yep, definitely and ambulance, I thought to myself. I tried to open my eyes, but they just wouldn't open.
"Oh my baby! What happened you jerk?!" I think that's Mom's voice, and that was when everything started clicking together.
