"I wish mom was here to see this." Nani said with tears in her eyes.

Lilo smiled and admired her graduation gown in the mirror. Her long black hair was straight, her tan skin bringing out her bright smile. Stitch, however, snarled and started biting at the fabric.

"NO STITCH, WE RENTED THESE. DON'T TEAR THEM. Be calm, just like Elvis would be." Lilo said with a wink.

Stitch straightened up and slicked back his hair.
"Picture time!" Nani announced. Lilo and Stitch smiled and looked at the camera. "Say waiupa'a!... WAIT" she quickly turned the flash off and Lilo laughed and looked at Stitch, who played with his paws nervously, knowing full well he would have panicked. Nani took the picture as the clock chimed 8:30.

"We have to go, now!" yelled Nani. Lilo ran out the door and stitch got in the drivers seat of the van.

"Stiittcchh, why don't I get to drive?" Lilo whined in the passenger seat.

"Dangerous." Stitch said cautiously.

They all clicked their seat belts and sped out of the driveway.

"STITCH, DON'T LEAVE SKID MARKS ON THE DRIVEWAY!" Nani yelled at him.

Weaving in and out of traffic, Stitch floored the cheap van. "Stitch, my driving CANNOT be any more dangerous then yours is!" Lilo said, clutching onto her seat. Stitch let out a wild cackle and broke hard in a parking space right outside Kauai High School.

Composing themselves, Lilo spotted Mertle and ran up to her. "Wow, you look so good in your gown!" Mertle said.

"Not nearly as good as you! Your hair has gotten so much longer, I totally dig the red." Mertle smiles and turned the same shade as her hair, but quickly starts pulling Lilo toward the entrance of the stage. "I'll see you in a little bit!" Lilo cried out to Nani.

Seeing familiar faces, they sat down in the middle of their friends and the lights dimmed. I'm The stage doors burst open with a panting Jumba. "ARE WE LATE?" Jumba yelled.
Nani quickly led them over to the seats while everyone stared. Pleakley hurried in, dressed in a skirt and blouse with blonde curly hair flowing past his shoulders.

"Since it technically is a special occasion, I busted out my best wig." Pleakley explained, bunching up his shiny curls. "Pleakley," Jumba said rolling his eyes," took 2 hours to get ready. I thought for sure we would have missed the graduation, but HERE WE ARE!" he exclaimed throwing up his hands.
There was static coming from the speaker, and everyone went silent.

"CLASS OF 2015, MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION. WE WILL START CALLING NAMES AND THE AFTER PARTY WILL BE IN THE DINING HALL ENDING AT 10 PM. THANK YOU AND I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL NIGHT."

"This is going to take forever. " Pleakley finally announced after they got done with the N's.
Nani looked over and shook her head. "I want this to last forever. Lilo and Stitch will be off to college next weekend, and then it'll just be me and David." She patiently looks toward the doors, searching for her husband. "I hope he isn't stuck at work again, he promised he would show. Besides, it can't take that much longer. Lilo and Stitch are already up on the stairs waiting their turn."

At that moment, David silently opens the door and steps in with a bouquet of red and white flowers, with a single blue one in the middle. Nani waves for him to come over and he takes a seat. "Just on time. I picked up these flowers for Lilo and Stitch, I figured it's the least I could do." Nani nudged him in the side and they focused on the teacher.

"LILO PELEKAI AND STITCH PELEKAI"

Lilo, followed by Stitch, walked onto the stage.  Elena, Teresa, and Yuki smiled and cheered right along with Mertle and the audience. Stitch extended his extra arms and waved at everyone, causing them to cheer louder. Lilo accepted her diploma and walked over to Kumu. He took her face in his hands with tear brimmed eyes.

"You are no longer the little girl I once had in my dance class, Lilo. You grew up to be a smart, beautiful young woman. I'm very proud of you." Lilo smiled and hugged Kumu with a single tear dripping down her cheek.

She let go and walked off the stage. She spotted Nani and sat with her, hugging everyone. David handed Lilo the flowers and she blushed deep red.

"Thank you David, they are so pretty!" She said. Stitch sniffed the bouquet and pulled out the single blue one. "Mine?" He asked.
David nodded his head and Stitch put his hand to his head, mimicking Lilo.
