"How you doing kid?" Bobby asks Dean.
"No sign of the church bells ringing in my head. Peachy. Ash?" Dean asks.
"Yeah. It's all- okay nope, throbbing pain." I say as a surge of pain bursts through my leg.
"Okay, that's it." Dean says. He crawls and sits in the back seat with me. letting me lean against him. After he does that he pulls out his phone to call Sam.
"What are you doing? ...In my car? ...Well, uh, Bobby's back, we're going to grab a beer. ...Done, yeah I'll catch you later." Dean says then hangs up.
"Why the hell didn't you tell him?" Bobby asks.
"Because he's gonna try to stop us."
"From what?" Bobby asks.
"Summoning this thing. This time we face it head on."
"You can't be serious."
"Oh I'm serious, it hurt Pam, it hurt me and most of all it hurt Ash, it stops there. It's a heart attack, it's high noon baby." Dean says trying to use a pun to lighten the mood.
"We don't know what it is, it could be a demon, could be anything."
"That's why we gotta be ready for anything, We got the big time magic knife. You got an arsenal in the trunk." Dean says as he pulls the demon-killing knife out of his pocket.
"This is a bad idea."
"I couldn't agree more." I say.
"But what other choice do we have." Dean says.
"We can choose life." Bobby says.
"Bobby, whatever this is, whatever it wants, it's after me and that much we know, right? I've got no place to hide. I can either get caught with my pants down again or we can make our stand."
"Dean, we could use Sam for this."
"He's better off where he is." Dean says. We keep driving will we get to an abandoned farm. Dean finds a chair for me to sit on. Him and Bobby start spray painting a bunch of different symbols everywhere.
"Its a hell of an art project you got going on there." Dean says.
"Traps and talismans from every faith on the globe. How you doing?" Bobby asks as he walks over to where Dean is setting up some weapons.
"Stakes, iron, silver, salt, knife. I mean, we're pretty much set to catch and kill anything I've ever heard of."
"This is still a bad idea." Bobby says.
"Yeah, Bobby, I heard you the first 10 times. Why don't you say we ring the dinner bell?"
"Bobby walks to the table that was behind Dean to start doing the summoning ritual. We end up just sitting here, doing nothing, waiting.
"You sure you did the ritual right?" Dean asks. Bobby just gives him a look.
"Sorry. Touch-touchy, huh?" Dean adds. The shingles on the roof start moving and very loudly might I add.
"I don't know what you're thinking, but maybe it's just the wind." Dean says as he moves to stand closer to me, seeing as how I can't really move. The light bulbs start exploding, and the barn doors start opening and somebody walks in. Dean and Bobby have their guns raised at him. The guy keeps walking straight towards them as Dean and Bobby start shooting at him. Honestly my first thought is like, superman or something because the bullets aren't doing any damage at all. They finally realize that the guns aren't working. Dean picks up the knife and they start circling each other.
"Who are you?" Dean asks.
"I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition."
"Yeah, thanks for that." Dean says then stabs the guy. He just stands there as if he didn't just get stabbed and pulls the knife out then drops it to the floor. Bobby goes to hit him with one of the iron crowbars but the guy puts his arm up behind him and grabs it, turns to face Bobby then puts two fingers to Bobby's forehead and makes him fall unconscious. Oh how I wish I could walk!
"We need to talk Dean. Alone." The guy says.
"No, not a chance, where he goes, I go." I say.
"Fine." Dean kneels down to Bobby to makes sure that he's okay.
"Your friend is alive." The guy says.
"Who are you?" Dean asks.
"Castiel." The guy says.
"Yeah, I figured that much, I mean what are you?"
"I'm an angel of the lord."
"Get the hell out of here. There's no such thing." Dean says as he stands up.
"This is your problem Dean. You have no faith." It suddenly starts thundering and lightning. There's a shadow on the wall of wings behind Castiel.
"Some angel you are. You burned out that poor woman's eyes."
"I warned her not to spy on my true form. It can be overwhelming to humans, and so can my real voice, but you already knew that."
"You mean the gas station and the mote?" I ask.
"That was you talking?" Dean asks. Castiel just nods.
"Buddy next time lower the volume."
"It was my mistake. Certain people, special people can perceive my true visage, I thought you would be one of them. I was wrong."
"And what visage are you in now, huh? What? Holy tax accountant?" Dean asks.
"This, this is a vessel."
"You're possessing some poor bastard?" Dean asks.
"He's a devout man, he actually prayed for this."
"Look pal, I'm not buying what you're selling so who are you really?"
"I told you."
"Right. And why would an angel rescue me from hell?" Dean asks.
"Good things do happen Dean."
"Not in my experience."
"What's the matter? You don't think you deserved to be saved."
"Why'd you do it? Because god commanded it. Because we have work for you. I can also help Ashlee."
"What how?" I ask. Luckily Dean and Bobby cleaned out my wound before so it doesn't hurt as much. Castiel walks towards me and touches my leg right above the big gash. My leg is instantly healed.
