A boy

A boy lost in the world,

In a sea of voices and dreams.

His life was tearing from its seams.

Smoke and mirrors,

Deception and lies,

A house of cards fallen to its sides.

Alone and terrified

Of childish little things.

He sees them smile,

Then he hears their screams.

So agonizing and cruel

They wonder what created this fool.

Shamed and shunned,

All for one.

Outcasted, the black sheep,

Who could not sleep.

Restless nights,

Wanting to fight.

Trying to stop these terrible thoughts,

But no one feels as lost.

Hated and hurt,

For someone so young.

Was it his fault it was this way?

Did he even have a say?

Wanting to die,

So these troubles will go by.

He fails to realize,

Whats right before his eyes.

There was no shining lights,

When he took his life.
